-Grace's POV-
Caroline, Marcus, and I have been practicing for hours upon hours for our secret practice. In our free time we are brainstorming ideas for the whole stage and what we want to do with ourselves for the song and dance.
It is quite hard juggling what we are doing along with the work S.M. gives us for schooling as well as stuff for vocal and dance training. We have been working tirelessly.
What exactly are we doing for this special stage? You may ask yourself.
Well, we are actually writing the lyrics as well as composing the song. It will be a true surprise for all.
Caroline and Marcus are on top of the lyrics while I am on the composing of the song. Once we figure all of that out, we will put together a dance. It's really Caroline and Marcus dancing while I play the guitar. There will be some background music as well.
It's going to be a huge production and hit. Or at least we hope so.
One late night when we were working in the studio, our CEO walks in.
"Looks like you are working hard on your mission," he smiles warmly.
"Yes sir," Marcus replies promptly.
"I came in to see how you guys feel about stage names. Would you like one or no?"
"Ooo! That would be so cool! I've actually been thinking about I recently! I was thinking how maybe my name could be Jayce (pronounced Jay-see)! I was thinking one day about stage names and I thought of it and I was like, 'cool!' And a fan name would be Jay Birds!" Caroline, the hyperactive one of the group, cheers.
"I'm down with that. What do you guys say?"
"I would like to change my name to Marks-Us. Similar to my name you know. But it's like I'm marking the human race with my singing abilities. And then the fans would be Mark-Me. They want to be marked," Marcus says shyly.
"That is quite interesting. I like that concept. Any thoughts Grace?"
"Well, before I was adopted, I was given the name Kim Yoon Hee. I would love to use it as my stage name. It will help connect with my roots, culture, and the people better. I believe a good fan base name would be G-Racers though. We are racing towards our dreams and I want to incorporate my English name. Do you get i?!" I wink.
"Ne!" they all laugh.
"This sounds wonderful! I like those ideas! You guys are so smart! And how is your project coming along? Doing alright?"
"Of course! But since it's secretive, we aren't sharing anything until we do the practice rounds for the S.M. Town tour!" Caroline pipes up.
"Arasso, arasso young ones! I'll be on my way!" And the CEO leaves us be.
-Mark's POV-
On a chilly October afternoon, the boys and I head over to a fancy restaurant near the JYP building to meet up with JYP himself. he described in the letter sent to us that it is a very urgent and important meeting and we must all attend.
When we get to the restaurant, we are escorted to a private dining area where JYP is waiting for us.
We greet each other politely and we all sit down.
"Let's order before we get the serious stuff out on the table," Mr. Park smiles.
After we have all settled in with our food, JYP starts explaining why we have been called down here.
"Today I would like to tell you my plan for you guys. I would like to put you guys together in a group. the seven of you have been together now for several months and you seem to be getting along nicely. All of you work hard and each has special talents of his own. We will use each aspect of you in the future."
We all stop eating and just stare at him.
"You will be a hip hop group called Got7. We have chosen JB to be the leader. He has shown great leadership skills and has been working extra hard for this position. Congratulations and I know you will do well in the future."
We finish eating and make small talk. Afterwards JYP takes us to downtown Seoul where we are able to browse shops and have some downtime.
But all of this brings back memories. Memories of a beautiful disaster. A disaster that is not cleaned up. I wish it is but I can't clean it up in the way that I want to.
I just suck it up though and try to look good in front of JYP. I also want to look good for him since we are technically is guests for tonight and fans are constantly coming up.
I am somewhat famous myself with what has happened in the past few months. But JYP is the most popular since he is a huge star as well as the CEO of a huge recording company.
I smile and wave to fans, take pictures with them, and sign autographs. Every smile is a fake smile though.
"You look pained everytime you smile," Youngjae whispers to me.
"I am," I say bluntly while looking straight ahead.
"It's because of her, isn't it hyung? She's constantly on your mind. I know it. I always see you staring at a photo of her. Jackson says you mutter her name in your sleep. Why do. you have such a strong attraction towards her?"
"She's a very dear person. She's a very special person Youngjae-ah."
"I can tell," he smirks.
"Please wipe that smirk off of your face."
"What?! Wae?! I didn't do anything hyung!" He starts to panic.
"Just leave me along for awhile. Please."
Youngjae leaves me alone and goes off to find BamBam and Yugyeom.
I walk on my own through the crowds. Then i stop in front of a shop that is vaguely remeber. Then it hits me.
This is the shopping strip where Grace and I came to and picked out couple bracelets at. And this is the shop we got them at.
A wave of extreme pain hits me and all of a sudden I start sobbing. I fall to my knees where I just stay put for a good 5 minutes.
Then I get up and wipe my tears away. I scurry back to the dorm where I flop onto my bed.
I have a sudden urge to call Grace. To see how she is. To tell her what has gone on in the past few months. To share my side of the story. To tell her the lawsuit is going underway. To ask her what she has been up to.
The door opens and very loud boys walk in. Ugh. I have to face them again.
Jackson walks in while I'm just laying on my bed wirh my arms behind my head while I'm staring at the ceiling.
"I think you should take a look at this, " he says softly while holding out a flyer
