Chapter 2: Audition

-Grace's POV-

It's nine at night by the time I get home. I didn't realize I was at the club for so long. Talking with Mark took up most of the evening and I am in a very good mood. I am SO glad I went out tonight! I was scouted, went to the coolest, freshest,  and newest hangout, and met a cute boy! What a wonderful way to end my week.

"Are you happy you went out because you seem happy!" my mother smiles.

"If it wasn't for your motherly instincts than I wouldn't be able to tell you that I had one of the best evenings I have ever had!"

"Aw, sounds lovely! Does any of this happniess have to do with a boy?!"

"MOM! UGH!" I feel a blush creeping up my cheeks.

"Tell me the juicy details! I'm just dying to know!"

"C'mon Mom, that's not the important part of the day! I GOT SCOUTED BY S.M. ENTERTAINMENT!"

"That's so exciting sweetie! I know you have been working hard to have this dream come true!"

"Apparently my looks set me off and my audition is next Friday! I need to prepare! Mentally as well as a song...hmmm...what song could I perform?"

"Bring your guitar and sing that song you always mumble."

"Chandelier by Sia...what an English song!" I laugh.

"What? It's a lovely song and it would showcase your vocals!"

"Wouldn't I need to sing in Korean?!"

"Do you think they really expect you to know Korean and be able to sing it? Just go with what you are comfortable with. No matter what I'll support you."

I sigh and say, "Alright Mom, whatever you say. Now I'm going to head upstairs to get ready for bed. Good-night!"

After the nightly routine I text Mark to tell him the details.

REMINDER-Next Friday is the audition! You have a week to prepare your audition! It's at 1 PM SHARP at the S.M. Entertainment building in downtown LA! See you there!

I actually feel a bit nervous after sending him the message. I don't know what he is going to say. I don't really interact with guys let alone text one...

My phone pings with a response from...Mark of course. It's such a quick response! It sends me sprawling on my bed because I'm just so excited about it! Geez it's only a text though...

HE IS SUCH A FLIRT OMG! God Mark is perfect. I just can't with him anymore. And I barley know him! Plus we just met today! UGH!

My phone buzzes at 8 AM to wake me up. I turn it off and then my mouth drops open and my eyes become wide. I already have 5 missed calls and 14 text messages from him. He wants me to call him ASAP.
