Tammy entered the conference room and walked over to the circular table where everyone was sitting. She set down a tray with three cups of coffee in the center of the table.
"I don't get how he chooses his casualties," said Tommy as he looked over a file. "Does he like spot a young boy on the road, stalk him and his family to learn his routines and then wait for the right time to abduct him?"
"That's the million-dollar question, and if you figure out the answer I will give you a million dollars," said Leroy with a smirk.
"I'm curious as to why he remained in Abingdon," said Tammy after she sat down. "There's gotta be something significant for him here."
"I think we need to talk to the parents once more," said Leroy, "And I'll see if Audrey can contact the family members of all the other boys. They all have to have something in common, and once we find what it is, we will be one step closer to catching this son of a bitch."
"I don't know," said Tammy, "I got an awful feeling about this case."
"The boy talking yet?" asked Leroy as he grabbed a cup of coffee from the tray.
Tommy shook his head as he laid back in his chair and crossed his arms. "I don't think we are gonna get much from him for a while yet."
"He's the only one who can break this case wide open."
"I'm pretty sure Moreo can get through to him, but it's gonna take time."
"Well time is something we don't have," said Leroy firmly, "The same man took another boy and has been missing for over 48 hours now and god knows what that bastard is doing to him."
