"Just Friends"

Chapter 3

LILLYS P.O.V

*The next day*

I slept in till about 1 pm. I was tired and I had to be over there at 4. I got up and brushed my teeth. Then I did my whole routine. I take a shower, shave, pick out cloths, dry hair, straighten hair, do my make up and get dressed.

I put my hair in a French fish tail braid with a braided light brown leather headband that stretched across my forehead. I was wearing a tie-dye tank top and some light jeans that had holes all in the front and I rolled them up to capris. Then I paired that with some white vans.

It was 2:45 when I was done and I still had to pack a bag. I got my light brown leather backpack and I shoved some spandex, shorts, and sweats. I didn't pack any T-shirts or sweaters because I planned to use his. (Not in a "I'm going to have sex" with you way) then I packed what I was wearing tomorrow and a bathing suit.

I waited for 4 to come around so I decided to take some selfies. I haven't been on any of my social media for 2 days and when I got on I had 2 new followers on everything and it was Crawford and Chris.

Finally 4 had come around and Crawford was knocking on my door.

"Hey" he said "you look amazing" he told me

"Thanks. It's alright with your parents if I stay right?" I asked

"Yeah" he replied "they said if you go home pregnant that they'll kill me though." He laughed

"They do not have to worry about that" I told him.

*awkward silence*

"Well you ready?" He asked

"Yeah" I grabbed my back pack, and my phone and left a note for my mom.

I climbed in the car and buckled up. Once we were at his house we went inside he took my bag up to his room and he said everyone was in the kitchen.

I made my way to the kitchen where I saw a younger girl, Chris and an older couple who i assumed were his parents.

"Lills!" Chris yelled

"Heh Chris" I replied

"Come here"

I walked over her and I met his sister mom and dad.

"So your moms alright with you staying" mrs.collins asked while cooking.

"Oh sweetie it's the dads you should ask about. What did your dad say?" Mr, collins asked.

"Ahh my dad died when I was 3" I told them

"I'm very sorry" mr. Collins apologized

"It's okay" I said

Crawford came tumbling down the stairs a second later thank god it was so uncomfortable.

"Lilly let's go into the movie room." Crawford pointed in the opposite direction.

"Okay" I told him

As we were walking his mom called out "Crawford dinner will be done in 10 minutes!" She yelled.

"Okay" he yelled back.

"I hope you like steak." He told me.

"I do" I told him.

We sat in the room talking about what we were going to watch tonight and than his mom said dinner was down so we made our way to the dining room.

I sat in the middle of Crawford and Chris and his sister sat in front of me, his mom across from Chris and his dad at the head of the table. On my plate was steak, mashed potatoes and greenbeans, Crawford got us all drinks and he brought my favorite,dr.pepper.

After we were sone eating his mom set out things to put on I've cream and gave us all 2 scoops. She'd joke around and say "you need to get some meat on those bones" to me and Crawford and Chris. Once we were all done his mom told stories about Crawford and Chris. We laughed and at about 10 they all went to bed. By now at my house my mom would be getting home.

Me na Crawford went upstairs to his room to change. Crawford put on some basketball shorts, and a t shirt. I decided to change right there. I looked over my shoulder and caught him staring at my bright pink lace underwear I had on. I put my spandex on and I told him I forgot a shirt to wear so he gave me one of his crew neck sweaters.

We went down stairs and raided the pantry and fridge so we wouldn't have to get up unless we had to pee. We had to make 2 trips each to bring back the food.

We started out with talking about ourselves and personal things, we ate and joked. It was fun.

We decided to broadcast on YouNow. While we were broadcasting we gotta a lot of "you two should date" or "are you dating?" He'd kid around and say "I wish" and I'd blush. Then we gotta a lot of "you chose that ugly thing over me?" And they really hurt but he'd say something back like "I'd chose anything over you with that attitude but she's my friend so leave if to don't like it."

I hated those word "just friends" I didn't wNt to be "just friends."

We finally got off of YouNow after 2 and a half hours and decided to watch a scary movie. I love scary movies but I told him that I "wasn't sure" and that if I had nightmares he had to stay with me all night. He said he would. But we went through many positions from me with my head on his lap to sitting really close to him, to basically sitting on him.

When the scariest part came up I was actually really scared, I had never seen this before and I was scared. He asked if I was okay and I said yeah. He put his arm around me. It made me feel better. I laid my head on him and I could hear his heart. Thump-thump-thump it went. I put my hand on his chest and it went a tad but faster. I sat up and he looked over at me. We were eye level. His heart was beating 5x faster. He leaned his head is and our lips smashed into each other. Basically melting together. We didn't pull away for a long minute. I didn't know what to do.

"just friends?" He asked

I nodded and kissed him again.

"Just friends" I said after.

Once the movie was over he pulled out the couch to a bed and we laid down, really close. We were under this big blanket. My head was buried into his chest and his strong arms were wrapped around me. It felt amazing. Soon our legs got tangled. And we fell asleep just like that.
