15.10.2013.

Thank God it's monday. I don't know how I endure the whole weekend without John. Here he comes.

J: Hey.

B: Hey.

What just happened? I wanted to kiss him, but he stepped back and kissed my cheek. What's going on? Was I just a one time thing? No, he's not like that. I need to know what is going on.

(...)

B: We have to talk. Alone.

What is this all about?

J: What?

B: Why did you stepped back when I wanted to kiss you?

J: I thought that Mark would be embarrassed.

Yeah. You don't know the whole story. Before I came to this school I was in a relationship with Mark. He is now also with me in class. He is John's best friend and can understand why he didn't want to kiss me in front of him.

After school we meet in the base. The boys told me that they have to tell us something very important. I'm wondering what. They must have found a new game. Just kidding.

(...)

A (Antonia): What was so important?

M: We have to tell you all the things you don't know.

L (Lucia): What we don't know?

P: Almost everything.

S (Stella): What are you talking about?

C: We are not the only vampires. There is another group of vampires. They don't tolerate us. We are fighting constantly. But this time it's gone too far. They organized an attack on us.

B: Attack?

A: What do we do now?

L: Would they come here with guns and kill us all?

J: Calm down. You won't be included. It will be a vampire fighting on the good old way. Like in films.

P: You will stay here while we are fighting.

S: I won't. I want to help you.

M: You can't. You can only hurt yourself.

B: For when is attack organized?

C: Tomorrow morning. Which means that this is maybe the last time that you see us.

A: Don't you dare say that ever again. Everything will be fine. I know that. It must be. It must. It must.

Everyone went home. Except John and me. I sat on his knee. He gently kissed me.

B: What if this is really the last time I see you?

He looked at me sadly, sighed loudly and kissed me gently.

J: Let's go home.

(...)

He walked me to my home. In front of my house:

J: Barbara ... I ...

B: What?

J: I love you.

His statement made me very surprised. A lot of things has happened in the last two weeks. I didn't know what to say.

J: Barbara?

B: Yeah?

J: Are you going to say something?

B: I'm sorry. You surprised me. I didn't knew that you would say that.

J: And? What do you say about that?

B: I love you too.

I kissed him.

B: Good night.

J: Good night.

I walked into the house.

I'm trying to fall asleep for hours. I'm worried about the guys. What if something really happen to them? Especially to John. What should I do? If I don't let them go there they will be angry at me, and if I let them go I can loose them. Jesus, why is life so complicated?
