Sam awoke once again, feeling much more refreshed than earlier. He rubbed his eyes, narrowing them as a light smooth jazz played softly. He looked over at the other bed, face flushing as Gabriel laid in that classic model pose, on one side with his head propped up on his fist, other arm laying over his stomach lazily. Thank God he was wearing clothes. The sheets had turned to a velvet red and small tea candles were scattered about the room, the only source of light and filling the room with the smell of vanilla.

"Morning sunshine~," Gabriel's voice was smooth like butter, the flickering candle wick dancing in his creamed coffee eyes. Sam's heart pounded against his ribs and he could feel the sweat forming on his forehead.

"Is this some kind of dream?" Sam asked, unsure. Was he in a Djinn loop still?

"A dream come true." Damn. The reply was slick. It just made Sam want to join Gabriel in his bed even more. The heat of his body against his, hands massaging his back while his own gripped at flesh, strong exhales making the hair on the back of his neck stand up and send a shudder down his spine. But something stopped him. A new image, in that cold abandoned barn, staring at the empty stalls he thought, he had hoped would have his brother. He couldn't do this, not now, maybe after all of this was over, if Gabriel stayed, but not now. He didn't want to have the tension build between them again, after his sputtering a rejection when their lips had just touched. So instead he smirked and rolled his eyes.

"Very funny Gabriel, I get it, you're horny because you miss your lifestyle of screwing a pornstar three times a day. Maybe I should take you to Sex Addicts Anonymous," He chuckled at his own joke, but his heart broke as a brief look of hurt crossed Gabriel's face, just before he looked down, then at his own body laid out with a half-hearted grin on his face.

"You're saying you don't want any of this? Not a lot of people get this offer," Gabriel motioned to his body extravagantly and winked at Sam.

"I'm sure that's what you told the last hunter you had sex with," Sam shot back in his same playful tone, swinging his legs over his bed and standing, stretching his arms high above his head so the bottom of his shirt lifted and show a small sample of his stomach. He pretended not to see Gabriel give it an examining glance. "Come on, stop messing around, we've got brothers to save."

"Fine. But just know you missed the opportunity of a lifetime," Gabriel sighed over dramatically and snapped his fingers, the room returning to normal. Sam moved over to their dresser and threw on one of his typical outfits - his classic flannel button-up shirt with dark blue jeans that covered most of his dark brown boots. Gabriel simply snapped his fingers again (the sound was like music to Sam's ears, knowing that he was close to the archangel whenever he heard that snap) and he was in a dark denim jacket over a black t-shirt, with jeans that looked similar to Sam's besides the fact they bottoms of them were lifted a bit higher so you could see his short black boots.

"Seriously? Denim?" Sam snorted.

"Hey, denim's back in fashion. All the kids are wearing it these days. And look -" Gabriel spun around and point to the crossed angel blades sewn onto the back, patched roses the color of blood wrapping around them and tying them together. "You can't put that on flannel. And you say I don't have any fashion sense." Gabriel snorted. He took out a pair of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses that hung from his chest pocket and flicked them sassily so he slipped them over his eyes with ease, giving Sam double finger guns with a cheesy grin. Sam just rolled his eyes once again and threw his duffel bag over his shoulders, beginning to walk out the door when Gabriel stopped him. "You know I could just zap us there, right?"

Sam had totally forgotten about Gabriel's ability. Most of the time he acted so human, if he told you he was an angel he would certainly receive laughs or concerned looks. Even most hunters who were privy to the knowledge of angel's existence would have trouble believing him because of how much he cussed, and his lack of tact around others. Of course he would love to skip the long hours of driving (and save all that gas money), but the thought of driving rose another concern.
