TWELVE ૐ FLASHBACKS

THREE YEARS AND FIVE MONTHS AGO !
OCTOBER 2014

DAWSON OPENS THE WOODEN DOOR to their house with a smug grin, leading the group inside the luxurious space. "Welcome to the house of the de la Cruz's..."

His bestfriend, Olivia, snorts from his side and rolls her eyes. "As if we hadn't been here so many times before. Way to be dramatic, Dawson. Now, get off your high horse and let's play Dead by Daylight."

"Jesus, I'm starving." Conner Mali whines and rubs his stomach to ease the emptiness of it as they transcend up to Dawson's room. Jonathan Carson slaps the back of his head, "Dude, you're always hungry."

Jade Clements scoffs at the two boys, breaking the them apart before they could go on full brawl. "Quit you two. You guys are absolutely disgusting and a total child."

They enter Dawson's room and each of them made themselves comfortable, taking their usual spots. Olivia scrunches her face up and lets go of the game controller, "I have to go pee. I'll be back."

Dawson calls out after her, "Beware of my brother! He's home as of the moment and he could be quite the charmer so suit yourself!"

Olivia walks down the hall headed to the bathroom. She reaches for the door knob when suddenly, the door bursts open and revealed Montgomery. She's been to their house for a lot of times now but they never really crossed paths alone.

"Hey. You're Dawson's younger brother, am i right? Montgomery, was it?" Olivia asks unsurely, a kind and bright smile on her face he couldn't take his eyes off of it. "You okay there? You look like you've seen a ghost or something."

"I... All good. Just stunned, is all. Sorry 'bout that." Montgomery tries to compose himself and returns her smile. "Yeah, I'm Montgomery. But you can call me Monty. You are?"

He asked though he already knew.

"Olivia Connelly."

And he never forget.

It didn't take too long before friendship bloomed between the pair. Montgomery de la Cruz wasn't known for settling down with one girl, he was notorious for quite the opposite. You see, he had a reputation he intended to keep, something he loved because it made him look cool in the eyes of his friends. For screwing as many girls as he can, he was honored and looked up to by the boys of Liberty High, as much as stupid and dumb as it sounds.

Olivia seemed to not pay heed to it and doesn't think or see him differently from the way she sees him compared to what everyone else sees. It occurred to the boy that she was different above everyone else and soon enough it became a problem for him because he started having a weak spot for her.

TWO YEARS AND SIX MONTHS AGO !
NOVEMBER 2015

Montgomery strains his ears as he hides behind a wall, eavesdropping on Olivia as she answers Justin's phone call.

"Yes, baby? I'm at Dawson's right now, i'm beating his ass at Call Of Duty." Olivia greets Justin from the other side of the line with glee and Montgomery felt his shoulders sagging in what seemed like defeat. "Aw, you did? How sweet of you."
