TWENTY FOUR ૐ WHEN THEY FELL APART

IT STARTED ON EARLY NOVEMBER when their relationship started taking a drastic turn.

It didn't last long until the fights between them started getting worse and Olivia started noticing some changes with Montgomery's behavior as they reached their sixth month of being in a relationship; it seemed as if he was going back to the person he used to be, the side he has that she wasn't entirely fond of.

Olivia steps in on the cafeteria, her green eyes skirting over the crowded and busy area, locating the familiar top of the boy's head poking out from a table full of his friends. She sighed and started marching towards their direction, catching the boys' attention and nudging Montgomery. Olivia spoke firmly amidst the obnoxiously loud voices mingling with conversation. "Mont, can I talk to you for a moment?"

Montgomery's smile faltered at the unamused tone of his girlfriend. "I'm in the middle of lunch. Maybe later?"

"I said now, Montgomery." Olivia stated with a hard stare. "You're already done eating your lunch so I assume you'd give me the time to talk."

His group of friends lets out a low and synchronized ooh's, their eyes darting between the two parties encased in a tensed staring contest before the de la Cruz boy finally budged and stood up from his seat, following her a few feet away from his table. "Seriously? You had to embarrass me like that?"

"Embarrass you? How did that even embarrass you? If I remember correctly, I pulled you out of there politely." Olivia scoffed, shaking her head at the audacity of Montgomery.

"What the fuck do you want?" Montgomery snapped, causing Olivia to look at him in shock and blink rapidly, obviously not expecting for the sharpness on his tone.

"Care to explain why your Coach just told me to lay off of you for a few days and let you focus on your grades for once? Seriously, Monty, your grades are slipping so fast that Jeff had to give you Clay as your second tutor?!" Olivia shot back, venom lacing the words slipping out of her tongue. "You even got yourself multiple detentions within three days! And oh, let's talk about the school student council meeting with you and Will Conners because apparently, you vandalized his car just this morning. What the heck is going on with you?!"

Montgomery clenched his jaw and rolled his eyes, not even caring about any of what she just said. "So what? It ain't even a big deal. Plus, Conners deserved it. He stole my parking space and I got detention for being late. His Prius deserved it."

"I don't even know what the fuck is going on in your head, if you even have a brain to use or you just choose not to—"

"Are you done? Because I kinda have a table to get back to and I'm pretty sure the things they've got to say is much more worthy of hearing than yours." Montgomery rudely interrupts with a mocking smile. "Okay?"
