Two months later.

Thank God that's over, I thought to myself as I ushered Terra out of the courtroom.

Reporters and photographers, even news crew were outside, waiting for us.

I had been acquitted to Jonathan's murder and Terra and I are now free from all that.

Danielle had been sentenced to ten years jail, on the charges of abetting a second degree kidnapping, premeditated kidnapping, attempt of murder, arson, grand theft auto, fraud and defamation, and animal cruelty.

I held Terra tight as I whisked her in to the car and we drove off.

"Thank God that's all over." She whispered at me.

I smiled at her and agreed.

We got out of the city, heading north. We stopped by a large house, beautifully designed and just finished being renovated.

"It looks good." Terra said as she stepped out off the car.

I held her hand as we walked up the footpath to the front door. I slipped the key in the lock and opened the door. It was only a thirty minute drive from our other house, which also meant Terra was closer to her parents and her sister.

I on the other didn't mind. Terra lived a year in self exile, I felt she needed to be close to everyone.

We walked inside and I heard her gasp in amazement.

The place looked amazing. The open kitchen, the dining room with French doors to the large backyard, the lounge room was huge and the smell of fresh paint came to our nostrils.

"A new house for a new chapter." I muttered in to her hair as she hugged me. We went down the hall way and checked out the bedrooms and office before going upstairs.

I had guttered the house out and we worked together on rebuilding the place. Our main bedroom was upstairs with two more bedrooms, a sitting room that Terra wanted as a library and a games room. The whole back side of the second storey had a large verandah that over looked bushland.

"I love it." Terra smiled as she came back to me.

I beamed at her. "Good."

"We can make that room next to ours a nursery."

I snapped my eyes to her and it took her a microsecond to realise what she had said. Terra laughed softly as she looked at me.

"Not yet. Don't be too disappointed. When the timing is right."

I did feel disappointed. I wanted nothing more then to start a family with her. To have my house filled with children laughing and babies crying.

"I suppose." I grumbled. "Otherwise I would have no help with the move."

"See, a silver line." Terra laughed as she playfully swatted my arm.

Terra turned to walk away, but I snatched her arm and pulled her to me. I swooped her up in my arms as I carried her to our soon to be bedroom.

"Stop it!" She squealed at me, laughing. "There are still workmen here!"

"I don't care." I growled as I took her lips. Terra instantly melted in to my arms as she kissed me back.

"Would you really take me here?" She smirked at me.

"Yes." I answered darkly.

"On the floor?"

"We've done that before." I grinned at her as I watched her beautiful face go pink.

"With no door on the bedroom yet?"

"So..." I kissed her neck as I started unbuttoning her blouse.

"With the workers here, that might happen to, I don't know, see me naked?"

I froze. She got me there. "Like hell!" I roared as I started doing her buttons back up.

Terra laughed at me again as she led me out off the room. "Let's go back to our other house then..." She smiled seductively over her shoulder at me.

A wicked grin came to my face as we raced to the car.

It took a month, between me at work and Terra back at work, but we had officially moved in to our new house.

Kayla spent some nights over while she was on school holidays and helped Terra do all the unwrapping of the breakables, and refolded the linen.

But now she had gone back home with her father and mother, much to Terra's disgust. Terra and Ellie always talked to each other like they haven't seen each other in years.

It was three cups of tea, lunch, a tour and a card game later that Callum had finally managed to get Ellie out the door.

Terra had quickly ducked off to pick up something for dinner and I was all by myself for the time being.

I looked over my laptop and saw the photo behind it.

My new favourite photo, Terra and me, standing outside of our new house with Gemma.

Gemma had spent nearly three weeks in recovery and wasn't as flexible as she used to be.

She had a nasty scar on her side and the fur had only just started to cover it.

Terra broke down in tears when she saw Gemma at the vets when we picked her up. She was so angry someone had hurt our girl. But then she was relieved to find she was okay.

"I'm back!" I heard Terra yell and Gemma come from her new favourite spot, a sunny spot on the back porch and came in wagging her tail.

I saw her walk past my office and I followed. Terra was patting Gemma, talking her puppy baby talk as Gemma licked her face.

I leaned against the wall as I watched them. "Do I get a similar hello?" I asked.

Terra stood up smiling at me as she raced to me and jumped in my arms. "Hello." She muttered after we kissed.

"I like these hellos." I grinned on her lips. "So what have we decided for dinner?"

Terra slid off me and smiled slyly, an eyebrow arched.

"How about we skip dinner and go straight for dessert."

I flashed a toothy smile at her. "Best dinner yet."

Yes I know, another time jump. Expect another one as well.

The next chapter is the last one.

This story is nearly at an end.

I'm sorry
