I could see the glow the in the distance as I pushed my foot down on the accelerator.

"Terra!" I screamed on to the phone. The smell of smoke in my senses.

I drove as fast as I could from the first phone call. I was already an hour into my drive when she rang.

How could she be stuck inside? Oh God, I thought to myself as I got closer.

I screeched as I applied the brakes and jumped out. There were people everywhere. Some were police and fire, some were locals gawking then I saw the paramedics.

I went forward to the building, my heart racing.

"Sir, stand back!" An officer came to me.

"My wife is in there!" I yelled.

The police officer turned his back and muttered in to his radio.

"Terra!" I screamed out. The fire had engulfed most of the building.

"Wow." I heard behind me. I know that voice. I turned to Jonathan and snatched him by the shirt.

"Where is she?"

Jonathan smirked. "I don't know."

"She told me you were here."

"Can't I go out for dinner?"

"Terra is still in there!" I screamed in his face as I saw all the blood drain from it.

I released his shirt and went to another officer. The firies battled with the fire with as much as they could.

I heard a crunch and crash over the flames and people.

"My wife! She is inside." I pleaded.

The officer turned to me. "Your wife?"

I nodded. "We have someone inside finding her." He spoke calmly. I looked back at the restaurant. It was nearly gone.

Then another crunch as we all stepped back.

I can't lose her again. Not again. I've only just found her. I can't do this again. I felt the tears prick at my eyes as I prayed for her safety.

Then in with the bright yellow and red glow, I saw a form come forward. The form half jogged as parts of the building behind him collapsed. As he got closer, I could see him better.

It was a fireman, wearing a suit and mask. But it was what was in his arms. The paramedics got their stretcher ready as I went to go to the fireman.

He had Terra! My heart had fled me now, my breath with it as I tried going to them. "That's my wife!" I yelled as I pushed past the officers.

The man placed Terra on the stretcher as I went to her. Three paramedics covered Terra, checking her out.

"Sir, please give us room!" One confronted me.

"That's my wife!" I growled back.

"Give us room so we can assess her and help your wife."

I stood there, watching them, shaking to myself.

"Give her oxygen, put her in the cab." I heard one say.

I ran to my car and followed them to the hospital. My head full of thoughts. Please be okay, I repeated to myself.

I parked my car illegally as I ran inside. I followed the paramedics.

"Smoke inhalation, minor burns, low heart rate..." They kept running, past doors I couldn't pass.
