As I entered the Stark Tower, I saw Loki enter a room with a small bar where Tony stood. Loki had the staff in his hand as he spoke. "Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity."

"Uh...actually, I'm planning to threaten you." Tony replied.

"You should have left your armor on for that." Loki shot back.

Tony shrugged. "Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage. You've got the blue stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?"

"Stalling me won't change anything." Loki informed him.

"No, no, no! Threatening." Tony corrected as he grabbed a bottle. "No drink? You sure? I'm having one."

From the corner of my eye I saw Kina hiding behind a desk in the living room right next door, prepared to attack.

"The Chitauri are coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Loki asked.

"The Avengers." Tony replied, earning a confused look from Loki. "It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' type of thing."

Loki nodded. "Yes, I've met them."

Tony smiled. "Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here."

"Your brother, the demigod; a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; a couple of master assassins; four highly skilled and trained aliens who are Jedi, which is huge from where they come from and rather famous movies here on Earth." Tony said as he listed us all. "And you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."

"That was the plan." Loki shrugged. "But I don't think I pissed off every one of them."

Tony furrowed his brows. "First of all that's not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you. And second I'm pretty sure you have pissed off everyone on the team."

"I have an army. And besides I know Storm isn't capable of hurting me." Loki scoffed with a smug look.

"We have a hulk." Tony replied. "And you don't know Storm as well as we do. She'll beat you to a pulp in a heartbeat."

I kept my back against the wall, leaning my head back. Could I hurt him? I released a sigh. I don't know why but I don't think I could try to hurt him...

"That's where you're wrong, I know her much better than any of you combined." Loki informed him with a confident tone. "And I thought the beast had wandered off."

"You're missing the point. There's no throne, there is no version of this, where you come out on top." Tony argued. "Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it."

Loki then slowly approached Tony, raising his scepter. "How will your friends have time for me, when they're so busy fighting you?"

Loki then tapped Tony's chest, but nothing happened. When he tried again nothing happened as well, causing Loki to become rather confused. "It should work."

"Well, performance issues." Tony commented. "You know?"

Loki became enraged as he grabbed Tony by the throat, causing me to let out a gasp. I watched as he threw him across the room, causing Tony to call his artificially intelligence system. "Jarvis. Anytime now."

Loki then grabbed Tony again. "You will all fall before me."

Loki then threw Tony out the window, causing me to yell out. "No!"
