As soon as we returned, Maya was rushed to the medical room. We gave the doctors the The Healing Crystals of Fire. We couldn't see her as we were all called to a meeting with the council. There Jyn explained that her father had a trap within the Death Star. Unfortunately her father, Galen Erso, had been killed on Eadu.

"We must scatter the fleet. We have no recourse but to surrender." The senator Tynnra Pamlo from Taris said.

"Are we really talking about disbanding something that we've worked so hard to create?" Senator Bail Organa asked.

"We can't just give in." Senator Raddus argued.

"We joined an Alliance, not a suicide pact!" Senator Valspar protested.

"We've only now managed to gather our forces." Alotren chimed in.

"Gather our forces?" Senator Jebel scoffed. "General Draven's already blown up an Imperial base!"

"A decision needed to be made." General Draven protested.

"If it's war you want, you'll fight alone!" Senator Pamlo informed them.

"We are already in war, Tynnra." Mom replied. "We cannot back down from this."

"If that's the way it's going, why have an Alliance at all?" Senator Valspar shot back.

"If she's telling the truth, we need to act now!" Senator Raddus exclaimed.

"Senator Raddus has a point. We just can't sit back and do nothing, especially when we have a opportunity to strike." I argued. "We may not have this opportunity ever again."

"At what cost?!" Senator Jebel inquired. "This will be fatal to our Alliance!"

I narrowed my eyes at Jebel. Currently I'm not liking some of the senators. Why can't they see what Jyn sees?

"Councilors, please!" Senator Mothma called out, trying to get us to calm down.

"It is simple, the Empire has the means of mass destruction. The Rebellion does not." General Merrick argued.

"A Death Star, this is nonsense." Senator Jebel commented.

"What reason would my father have to lie?" Jyn inquired. "What benefit would it bring him?"

"To lure our forces into a final battle. To destroy us once and for all." General Draven retorted.

"To risk everything, based on what? The testimony of a criminal?" Valspar questioned. "The dying words of her father, an Imperial scientist?"

"Don't forget the Imperial pilot." Senator Jebel added.

"Jebel, don't talk out loud. You lower the IQ of the entire base!" I snapped. "You're clearly stating the obvious to everyone here."

Jebel scoffed. "You may be a general, Ca'ana. But you will never be a commander or senator."

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Is that so? I bet I can do a better job than you."

"I'll make sure that you'll never become a commander." Jebel warned.

"Is that a threat?!" I exclaimed as I clenched my fists.

"Jebel! Storm! Enough!" Senator Mothma scolded, causing us to immediately close our mouths. "Jyn, you may proceed."

"My father gave his life so that we may have a chance to defeat this." Jyn explained.

"So you've told us." Senator Dodonna reminded her.

"If the Empire has this kind of power, what chance do we have?" Senator Pamlo asked.
