Nandini's POV:

I was laying on my bed, basking the soft sunlight through my window with a little smile.. Finally I beat him,Manik was speechless and I am sure he is going to cancel it..

Flashback:

"I am pregnant."

He looked at me like I had gone mad and I need doctor..

"U are kidding and it's not funny."

"I know but I am not kidding.. I did hide from you and that doesn't mean I didn't have fun." I said winking at him...

He was looking at me with a straight face but his eyes told me that I just said the most ridiculous thing ever..

"Well.. I know u need time to process all this but just u know, I will do every possible thing to keep this baby with me. Have a good night.." I said and walked away..

flashback ends..

"Rise and shine, baby."

Someone said and I got up immediately.. It was Manik and he had a trey in his hand ,full of English breakfast..

"The hell! What are u doing here?" I asked totally shocked.

"I am here to take care of my would be wife and child." He said and placed the trey in front of me.

"What?!"

"Listen Nandini I know the child is not mine biologically but I don't care.. The baby is a part of ur existence and I am happy with that." He said and I was like 'f!ck did my plan just backfired?'

"Manik, u don't have to do it.. U know u have to see my baby everyday and he/she might look like his father.. I don't want any complication.." I tried to make him understand..

"First of all The baby will be our baby.. I am going to marry u so I am going to be his father. Even if he look like his father, I won't mind.. Now let me take care of you and finish this breakfast.." I don't know what to say more.. He was sitting in front of me on my bed. I was feeling like crying... Why he had to be so good.

"Coffee...?" I asked bcz there was no coffee..

"No coffee for u darling.. U are pregnant, aren't u?" He said and I came to know, he must figured out my plan.

"Aren't u going to eat?" I asked.

"No, I can't. I am very busy looking after my pregnant would be wife.. After u finished, we have an appointment with the best gynecology doctor." I coughed real bad.

"Drink this juice Nandini.." I controlled my cough

"That's not needed! I recently had an appointment with my doctor and she said everything is fine.. So we don't need to go." I sighed in relief for the sensible excuse..

"But I need to ensure u both are fine so it's needed. Travelling is not good for u both.. Let's call her here only." He said and I became restless..

"Manik...."

"No wait. Let me just call her."

"Manik, stop that!"

"What?"

"U know I am not pregnant thats why u are doing all this."

"Well... I knew it from last night only.. I didn't say anything so that u can enjoy ur so called victory.." He said..

"All right.. What if I was actually pregnant?" I asked.

"That time too I would take care of u and the baby.. The things I said before were true." He said sincerely..

"And don't ever lie like this again..I can't believe u lied in this sensitive matter.. Now finish ur breakfast.." He said angrily..

We were sitting in front of the tv and trying to watch something but I didn't know what was playing or not.. Manik will never leave me that's confirm. Now what if Maddy strikes.. I knew for a fact it's going to happen sooner or later..

"Then I will break his bones.." Manik said..

"What?!" I said confused..

"U only said what if Maddy strikes then I will break his bones.." He added and ofcourse I had to say it aloud.

"He never let his opponent to strike.. He always make sure of that.." I sighed..

"Why didn't u try to defeat him? You could have track him down." He said..

"I tried it was no use.. My people couldn't track him down..it's like he kept his eyes on me and he even didn't have any existence.. When someone came in my life that time only he made me feel his presence." And for this I always have been terrified..

"What exactly he did to you?" He asked..

"He was overly possessive. He never liked me talking with some other guy.. I never liked him. I was dating him only because dad said so.. One day he crossed his limits and beat me.. My friends rescued me and called police.. But his dad pulled some strings and they had to release him.. After that no one knew where he gone.. Few days later his creepy moves started.." I finally told him everything.

"That bastard..What's his full name?" He asked and start typing on his phone..

"Madhyam Singhania" I said and he stopped typing..

"Are u sure?"

"Of course, Manik. He is Madhyam singhania, son of suresh singhania." I said and He nodded..

He sent Someone a msg and he got a reply.. He smirked and turned towards me..

"I promise u Nandini.. I will not let him harm u or anyone of us.. Pack ur bag.." He said

"What?why?" I asked at his sudden demand..

"We are going on a five days trip.."

"Manik, I can't. I have to prepare for the exhibition.. Lots of works.." I said but he cut me off.

"U have qualified staffs to do things for u and u will get time after u come back from that trip." He said adamantly and I sighed.

"That's a surprise but let me tell u there will be beach..." He said.

"Oh! That's great.. But why sudden trip?"

"So that we can have some alone time and I brought u back from ur beach house.. So thats why." He said.

He also added,"And I have to make everything right."
