Ingrid's POV
Things had been more stressful this week, not because of Oliver but because of tests. Even though I got the best marks last year I still struggle to be calm around test time. It didn't help that Camille made my life a constant worry, rumours and death threats were constantly in the air. This year is way worse than last year.
Another thing that bothered me was my note-taking in class. I have been terrible at taking notes recently and then afterwards I haven't been reading them. Katie and Penelope have been trying to help me deal with stress but it's been hard for them, they don't know what I have to live up to.
I got all outstanding's in my last exams and I couldn't top that, I needed to get the same or get worse. I didn't want to get a bad score and that's why I had to revise.
Oliver has been noticing my stress and has been putting study notes inside my bag and books. It was nice of him and it reassured me, it made me believe that I could do well in this test. However, the one subject that I was the worst at was Astronomy. I wasn't bad but I had only just scraped an outstanding in that subject.
Everyone knows that it's my worst subject as well because all I do is ramble on about it. It must frustrate them but they manage to keep a straight face. Oliver's been listening though and as I was walking to my common room, I spotted Oliver hanging outside the door. I smiled at him and all he did was pass me a note and leave, very mysterious. It said this:
I know you've been stressed out recently so I want to help.
I am giving you the chance of a lifetime, a study session with Oliver Wood.
If you are interested meet me at the Astronomy tower at 7.30.
Love Oliver. Xxx
My heart fluttered a little as I read it, this was sweet of him. I had an hour to get ready so I quickly scrambled into a respectable outfit, for a cold night. It was comfortable and I loved the leather jacket. I was ready to go and made my way downstairs. Penelope was there with Percy, I never understood why she loved that boy...
"Ooh, where are you going?" She asked cheekily.
"On a date," I tease "Because unlike you I tell people if I have a boyfriend!"
Penelope smiled and I smiled back before I left the room and made my way to the Astronomy tower.
I arrived a few minutes early, but to my surprise, he was already there. There was a blanket that was placed next to a large telescope. He seemed prepared.
"Hello, and welcome to Oliver study session." He said as if he was a robot.
I giggled a little "Hey robot-man!"
Oliver couldn't take it anymore and his face broke into a smile.
"Why are you doing this?" I ask.
"You did it for me!" He exclaimed, "Plus it would be a pretty romantic date!" He admits.
I rolled my eyes and he guided me to the blanket. "Okay, what's your zodiac?"
My birthdays in February. The first to be precise. So that would be Aquarius.
"Aquarius!" I say.
"I want you to find it for me." He says calmly.
I nod and put my eye to the telescope. I search for minutes and I can't find it, I turn to Oliver with puppy dog eyes. "Can you help me?"
Oliver chuckled slightly and nods. He guides my hand and points the telescope in a different direction. He's incredibly close to me now and I can feel his warm breath on the back of my neck.
"There!" He says and I look through to see the Aquarius symbol. I turn and smile at him.
"You're very talented!" I smile.
"Why thank you!" He chuckled a little.
He moves in closer and he wraps his arms around me, completely forgetting about the subject we were supposed to be studying. Our noses are pressed together and he then presses his lips to my nose. He pushed me into the blanket and I looked up at him, he leaned in slowly and kissed me.
I'm not going to lie and say that this didn't last for most of the night because it did!
