Ingrid's POV

It was a week after our date. I'm still not sure if it was a date, but tonight I am definitely. We'd been closer for the past week, almost conjoined to the hip.

When I told Penelope and Katie that I had another date, they squealed with happiness. I knew they liked organising my outfits. They would both make excellent stylists.

I was told that this date would be more relaxed, so, this disappointed them but they still rooted through my wardrobe. They ended up finding a top that I liked that said in bold writing, Unicorn Squad. They laughed at that, but I just told them that I liked Unicorns.

They still chose it and again put on my necklace, I wasn't complaining, I loved it. Every single time I wore it I just felt like I had a future, stupid I know, obviously I had a future but my mother wanted me to pass it down to my children. That made me think, am I going to have children? Am I still going to be with Oliver? It made me think.

Either way, I walked down to the Room of Requirement, we seemed to be spending a lot of time there recently, not that I'm complaining.

I opened the door and smiled at a Quidditch pitch. At the side of this Quidditch pitch was a large buffet, similar to the size of lunch.

I looked around but I couldn't see Oliver anywhere. I then looked up to see him absent-mindedly flying around. I smiled, he was in his element and the food was mine.

I sneaked past him and picked up one of the cakes from the buffet. I ate it all, savouring the flavour of chocolate.

"Chocolate cake wins, huh?" Oliver smirks, he'd seen me.

"Definitely," I tease, shoving another cake in my mouth.

"I'm very offended!" Oliver faked hurt, putting his hand on his chest.

"Well you can be annoyed too, I'm going to kick your ass in Quidditch!" I smirk.

"You can dream!" Oliver stated playfully.

I smiled and mounted a broom near to me. It was a Firebolt, Oliver was on a Nimbus 2001.

"Be careful, I tried to ride that one before, it's quite hard!" Oliver says, a little worried.

I shrug and propel forward, it was a little faster than expected, but I got the hang of it. Oliver groaned as I was on a broom way faster than him.

We layer Quidditch for a while, swapping roles but not using the bludgers, we didn't want to ruin the Room of Requirement.

Later we sat down on a picnic blanket and talked, eating all the food from the buffet.

That's when the most unbelievable thing happened. And it all started with a kiss, yes this kiss went somewhere and if you are thinking sex, you're wrong.

We had finished kissing and we broke away and then Oliver said something.

"Ingrid, can I ask you something?" Oliver asked suspiciously.

Thoughts flashed through my mind, what could be important. Then he pulled out a small black box, wait was he proposing? He seemed to think that I hadn't noticed the box, but it was a good thing, just too early.

"Yes?" I say nervously.

"Will you take this promise ring?" He asked, and opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring.

It was silver and has to heart on, one red and one blue. I think they were symbolising us. After all red was the colour of Gryffindor, and blue was the colour of Ravenclaw.

I loved it, and this meant a lot to me. This was a promise for something later on in life, something very important.

"Yes, yes!" I yell excitedly. Pulling the ring onto my finger, then jumping on top of Oliver and pulling him into a massive hug.

He wrapped his hands around me and kissed my cheek softly.

I'm not going to lie, you may think that I'm over exaggerating but I'm not, this was one of the best days of my life. It was like he had promised to love me forever, and I could never be happier to say yes because I would love him forever too.
