Pick up my pieces please,
When I would have broken up enough
Into a million parts
just like a broken glass;
Each piece reflecting its own sorrow
forming its own shadow,
Making itself count
though being small.I entrust you with all my remnants,
with whatever of me that I left behind.
Pick me up with care, I might be fragile
But I will love you no matter where I die.
Each part of me
And my soul, which is now a dark hole,
Without a single soul
lurking behind in the shadows.
Its just my pieces and their sorrows. The tiny shreds might hurt your hand,
But don't you worry
I suffered more injury
And yet I lived.
You hurt me with the same hands
on this same land.Pick up my pieces please,
For I might not be able to hold on more,
For I might break apart before you know,
For I might be a little weak,
but I will be happy to stay in your hold
Even after my heart is no more.[A/N : just nominated A Loner's Ballad for The Wattys 2018! I'm excited! ]
