The nap I took seemed to be more than just a nap. I woke up the next morning feeling confused and stressed. I soon remembered what had happened yesterday, though. We had visited John Kreese in his karate studio and he didn't seem too happy about it. I had no idea what happened after I left...hopefully I would find out through talking to Daniel. I was planning on visiting him today, after all.

I walked out of my bedroom and I felt relieved that it was a Saturday...no school. I didn't have to see the jerks who beat us up to a pulp today. I sat down at the dining table, where Alfie was cooking breakfast, as usual. I smiled at him as he put a plate of bacon, sausage and toast down in front of me.

"Thank you" I said to my older brother. He nodded and smiled as he sat down next to me to eat his own breakfast. I soon finished my own breakfast and I walked out of the apartment without saying a word. I wanted to find Daniel, after all. I was so curious to find out what happened once I left.

I soon reached Daniel's apartment and I knocked on the door. It was Daniel's mother who answered the door. I smiled at her "Hello, is Daniel home by any chance?"
Daniel's mom smiled back and she nodded* "Hello Autumn, he's just inside. Please, come in."

I nodded as I stepped inside the apartment. Daniel's mother was amazing, I loved her. However, she seemed a bit on edge, and I'm more than sure that it was because of Daniel's injuries. I understood how she felt...I was on edge from the whole incident. I feel like they would pop out and attack me again. I guess it was only normal; I was sure Daniel would feel the same.

Daniel was sat on the couch, reading a karate book. I raised my eyebrows and sat next to him. I wondered why he was reading a book about karate. Did John Kreese say something to him? Did he join that karate studio?

"Uhh, hey Daniel," I said quietly, "how comes you're reading a book about karate?" I thought it was a bit...strange. Not weird or anything, but how many people casually read karate books?

He looked over at me and put his book down on the table in front of him. "Hey Autumn, well, when you left...Mr Miyagi told John Kreese that we would both enter a karate tournament in 2 months...we start training tomorrow" Daniel replied. He looked nervous...nervous to see my reaction? Nervous for the actual tournament? I didn't know.

I immediately stood up and just stared at him. What the hell was he talking about? A tournament? I didn't even know karate!

"What?!" I exclaimed, freaking out. I never agreed to this! I wasn't even there to defend myself!

"Y-yeah...sorry Autumn..." Daniel replied, looking down at the floor. I just sighed, and sat back down next to him. I didn't know why he was apologizing...it wasn't his fault. It was John Kreese's fault, in my opinion.

How was this fair? Me and Daniel would have just two months of training with the apartment maintenance man while those jerks will have had years of training at Cobra Kai.  I thought it was obvious that they would kick our asses out there. They've already proved that.

Who am I to agree to this? I'm not a karate expert. I know nothing about karate, how will I be ready to take on a group of jerks in a tournament in just two months?
