Chapter 5

Leila ran as fast as she could towards the school-which was pretty damn fast. She listened intently and heard not only Allison's voice, but also Scott's, Stiles's, Lydia's, and Jackson's. But then, someone else spoke.

Danny.

Leila ran even faster and ended up at the school in just shy of a minute. She continued to run, dodging anything in her path.

"Scott, what's going on?" Allison asked.

"No time for questions, just get behind me," Scott said. The Alpha was moving around the school, but it wasn't close to them. There was another werewolf-that wasn't Derek-there as well. He just couldn't figure out who it was.

"Scott?" Stiles asked. "Why aren't we running?"

"There's another one."

"Another werewolf?" Stiles slipped. He clamped a hand over his mouth instantly.

Leila ignored what they were saying and kept running through the school. She finally reached the lobby and burst through the doors, landing in all four.

A scream erupted from Allison and Lydia's lips, while yells came from Jackson and Stiles. Scott's claws came out, along with his fangs, but Danny was smiling.

Leila was not.

"What the hell are you doing?!" she shrieked, absolutely furious at her brother.

Scott was just shocked. "You're actually a werewolf?"

"No, I'm a pegasus!" Leila said sarcastically. "Of course I'm a fucking werewolf! Now, why the hell did you let the ALPHA find you?!"

"Um..." Scott scratched his neck. "Derek said I have a connection with him, so I'm trying to see if it's true?"

Leila rubbed her temples. "Where is Derek?"

"He's... well, he's sort of..."

"Oh, for god's sake, Scott," Stiles said. He turned towards Leila. "I'm sorry to say this, but the Alpha killed Derek right before we came in here."

Leila nodded. "So that's the death I felt."

"You felt it?" Lydia asked.

Leila nodded. "Perks of being blessed by Hades."

"Hades, like the Greek God? The mythological one?" Allison questioned.

"Oh, did I fail to mention that all Greek and Roman stories are true? All stories are true."

"What, do mummies only live in Egypt?" Jackson asked.

Leila looked at Jackson like he was an idiot. "No. Mummies don't exist." She rolled her eyes. "Di immortales."

There was suddenly a howl, making everyone besides Leila pale. "Run!" she exclaimed. "I'll make sure he doesn't eat y'all!"

"THAT'S COMFORTING!" Stiles bellowed as he started to run.

"GOOD! I TRY TO BE!"

They all started to run quickly, trying not to be . The group of seven ran as fast as they could, which was pretty fast.

But not faster than the Alpha.

Leila realied this and pulled off one of her rings, making a bow and a never empty quiver of arrows appear in her hands.

"GO!" she yelled. "I'll make sure he doesn't get there!"

Leila saw all of them freeze when they saw her shooting arrows, but she flicked her head towards them, making the air push them back.
