Leila didn't bother running towards the Hale house. She just shadow-traveled, which may have drained her some energy, but the moon helped give her strength.
The first thing Leila saw was Kate pointing a gun at Scott's head. She sighed before she said, "I love those brown eyes."
Leila stepped out of the shadows, growling as her claws extended and eyes glowed blue. Since she was blessed by Artemis when she was younger, she could control if she turned like Scott and Derek did, or if she turned into a full wolf. Right before she attacked Allison's aunt, Chris showed up.
"Kate! I know what you did. Put the gun down."
Kate grinned maliciously. "I did what I was told to do."
Anger bubbles through Leila. "No one asked you to murder innocent people!" she yelled as she stepped forward, grabbing everyone's attention. "There were children in this house, ones who were human!"
Chris continued her little rant. "And look what you're doing now. You're holding a gun at a sixteen-year-old boy with no proof he spilled human blood. We go by the code: Nous chassons ceux qui nous chassent."
Allison looked down as she whispered to herself, "We hunt those who hunt us."
Chris nodded. "Put the gun down. Before I put you down." Kate looked at her older brother, obviously surprised. However, she put the gun down.
"Chris, we need to kill these three. They're betas. Peter's betas."
"I'm not a beta," Leila growled at Kate. "You think that there's three betas, but there's not. I may look like one, but I'm the alpha of my own pack. And just like you Argents, we have our own motto. But in Greek instead of French. It's not too different from yours, actually. Kynígoume ta térata pou mas kynigoún."
"What does that mean?" asked Chris, ignoring his sister's glare.
Leila pulled out a knife, just in case the Alpha showed up during their conversation. "'We hunt the monsters who hunt us.'"
"But you're a monster," spat Kate. "You're a werewolf."
"That doesn't make me a monster," responded Leila. "I've met others who are much more monstrous than I."
"Leila?" Leila looked at her twin brother, who was slowly standing up. "You may want to draw this conversation to an end."
"Scott, not now."
"Peter's here," Derek interrupted. "And we all know that he's going to want us dead."
Leila took out a knife, her grey and blue hair fluttering in the wind. "Yeah? Well I'm not going down without a fight. He can try to kill me, but I'm not going anywhere." She paused. "Actually, I'm going to go plan something."
Leila ran into the Hale house, preparing for a battle. She knew that Peter would get what he wanted, so she hid behind a wall, used to hiding in the smallest areas due to her father.
She listening carefully until she heard Peter's voice. "She is beautiful, Kate. She looks like you. Probably not as damaged. So I'm going to give you a chance to save her. Apologize. Say that you're sorry for decimating my family, for leaving me burned and broken for six years. Say it, and I'll let her live."
"I'm sorry," Kate instantly said.
"I don't know about you, Allison, but that apology didn't sound very sincere."
Leila left her hiding spot just in time to watch as Peter Hale's claws made their way across Kate Argent's throat, rendering the huntress dead once and for all.
