Leila tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for Allison and Lydia to arrive. When they did, she saw Allison carrying a bow and arrow.

"Damn, girl. I like your sense of style," Leila announced as soon as the brunette could hear her.

"Allison, when you said you needed to stop for an errand before we went shopping, a five mile hike in the woods was not what I was expecting."

Allison ignored the comment as she tightened arrowhead onto the arrow. "Before I forget, I wanted to ask if you're okay with something. Jackson asked me to the winter formal."

Lydia tried to act nonchalant, but Leila could see right through it. "Did he? Huh."

"Just as friends. But I just wanted to make sure you're okay with it first."

Lydia nodded. "Sure. As long as it's just friends."

Allison narrowed her eyes slightly at Lydia. "Well, yeah, I mean; it's not like I would take him to the coach's office during lacrosse practice to make out with him or anything."

Leila snickered and patted Lydia's shoulder. "You're on your own from here." She froze suddenly. "Wait, did Lydia make out with Scott?" Leila stared at her best friend in horror. "That's my twin brother!"

Lydia sucked in her lips as she averted her gaze from her two best friends. "Uh, about that..." She suddenly paid attention to the arrow that Allison was placing on the bow string. "What does that do?"

Allison pulled back the string and said, "We're about to find out."

Allison let the arrow go and watched as the tree in front of them had a small explosion appear where the arrow hit.

"What the hell was that?" Lydia demanded.

Allison looked curious as she answered, "I don't know."

Leila walked towards the tree and pulled the arrow out of it, analyzing the weapon. She lightly touched the tip and immediately recognized it.

"Celestial Bronze," she whispered. She ran her hand down the shaft of the arrow and could tell that it was made of oak. The fletchings were made of peacock feathers. She gasped as she had an epiphany.

Argent.

The Argents were a legend at Camp Half-Blood. They helped create Celestial Bronze, and the gods loved their family, due to the fact that one of the goddesses-Artemis-allowed a male to be one of her hunters.

Leila let out a groan. "Oh, stupid, stupid. How could I forget about that?"

She placed the arrow back in the tree and was shocked at what happened.

Quite literally.

Leila was blasted backwards from the force of the arrow. The force was greater this time than the time before, and Leila knew that. She twisted in the air and did a three point landing. She looked up from the ground to see Lydia looking concerned but proud.

"Damn, that was the most badass thing I've ever seen you do."

Leila winked at her. "Hang around me longer and you'll see things that are even more badass."

Lydia linked her arm with Leila's. "Please. I'm not leaving you anytime soon."

"No matter what happens?"

"No matter what happens."

Leila giggled as she looked up from her phone, where she had been texting Stiles. She went to talk Scott about the murders and walked into his room. "Hey, Scott, did you know that all of the murders had to do with arson or fire? The bus driver was involved in the Hale fire, but he didn't start it. I do have an idea on who started it." She looked up and did a double take. Allison was in front of her, along with her mom. She rushed towards her mom and held her at arms length. "Mom, you look gorgeous!"
