Leila took a deep breath as she saw Allison and Jackson walk past her, Stiles, Lydia, and Lydia's date-who just so happened to be one of the demigods from Camp Jupiter.
Lydia tilted her head a bit as her ex-boyfriend walked past her. "Jackson. You look handsome."
Jackson smirked. "Obviously. It's Hugo Boss."
As he walked away with Allison, Lydia took a deep breath. "I don't care. I don't want compliments. I will not fall prey to society's desire to turn girls into emotional, insecure neurotics who pull up their dresses at the first flattering remark."
Her date, Nathaniel Parker, looked at her and said, "Well, I think you look beautiful." The comment made a small smile appear on Lydia's lips, which made Leila extremely happy.
"Okay, then," Stiles said with a grin. "Let's get our party on." He grabbed Leila's hand and brought her towards Beacon Hills High School, both of them glad to be attending the Winter Formal.

About halfway into Formal, Leila saw Scott on the bleachers.
Apparently, Coach did, too.
Coach began to run towards Scott and yelled, "McCall! I see you! Come here, buddy. Come here. McCall! Get outta my way! McCall! It's a small gym, buddy. I'm gonna find you. I gotcha, McCall! Come here, come here! Get outta my way! McCall!"
Leila's eyes widened as she saw her brother talking to the one person that would let him stay.
"McCall! You're not supposed to-What the hell are you do-What the hell are you doing?"
Everyone stared at Coach, even the band members. Coach glanced back and forth between Danny and Scott. The latter pulled Danny closer, and Stiles had to cover Leila's mouth with his hand due to how much she was laughing.
"Yes, Coach?"
Coach instantly became like a deer in headlights and he stumbled over his words. "Okay, ho-ho-ho-ha ha. Hold on, you-I was just saying he's not supposed to-I mean, I wasn't saying that he shouldn't-You guys don't think-You don't-I-I was..." He trailed off as everyone continued to stare. "Just dance, everybody. Just dance! Dance! It's a party!"
Once Leila was finally back under control of herself, she looked around and smiled, happy to be in the situation she was in. However, she quickly froze.
"Stiles?" she mumbled as she looked around. Everything seemed to be normal: Kids were dancing, Scott and Allison were talking, and music was playing.
Scott and Allison were talking and dancing.
Hadn't Lydia been by Allison's side the entire night? And wasn't Jackson Allison's date?
"Yeah?" Stiles asked.
"Where's Lydia?"
Stiles instantly began to look around. "Oh, god, I don't know. Where'd she go?"
"I'll check the school, you check the lacrosse field," said Leila as she made her way out of the gym.

An hour later, Leila had found Lydia. Well, Stiles did, and called Jackson, who found her, but Lydia was found and safe in a hospital.
Stiles, however, was gone.
Scott and Allison were as well.
Leila rushed outside to look by the buses, and she watched as Scott jumped onto two vehicles, Allison safely in a bus.
"Scott!" Leila yelled as Chris Argent stepped out of the van with two guns in hand. He began to shoot towards Scott, ignoring Allison's horrified face.
"Leila, what're you doing?" Allison shrieked as Leila pulled out the same bow and arrows she had when she spent the night at the school and nocked an arrow, aiming it towards Chris.
"Chris, but down your weapons," she said calmly, making time for Scott to run away. "I don't want to fight. Remember, we're on the same side here."
Allison looked confusedly at Leila, but Leila ignored her.
"Chris, we both want the Alpha dead. We need to work together. Okay?"
Chris ever so slowly put down his weapon onto the hood of his van.
Leila nodded, approving of what he was doing. "Good. Now, let's go kick some werewolf ass."
