Emily's POV

We got married soon after The Voice had finished. We wanted to get married before the baby was born. I told my mum and she cried, Ricky called his parents and they reacted in the same way they did when they heard about the baby. "You're so young, but if you're so certain this what you want to do with your life then we'r happy for you." This was the most nerve wrecking thing ever.

This more nerve wrecking than any performance if The Voice. I was shaking, I was dying to see Ricky but everyone we knew and loved so much were watching. My dad wasn't invited to my wedding, I haven't spoken to him in months. My grandad was going to give me away instead. He was in tears when he first saw me in my wedding dress, I've never see my grandad cry before.

I hugged him "I never thought I'd live to see the day you get married." He said. That almost made me cry. "I'm so proud of you Em. You have done what you wanted to do and you've met the one you love along the way." He took my arm and led me down to the big, brown double doors that had my soon to be husband and all our closest family inside. "Are you ready?" Grandad asked. I took a deep breath and nodded. The doors opened, there's no turning back now.

Ricky's POV

I could hear the doors open and I got excited and nervous at the same time. I had to keep facing forward, that's what they told me. I couldn't turn round to look at Emily at any point while she was walking down the aisle. I didn't get why though, I haven't seen her for two weeks leading up to the wedding and for me, that's a long time.

As Emily reached my side I turned to look at her. She was stunning, she took my breath away. I knew that this was the right thing to do. "Before we start, does anyone have any reason why these two people can't be married today?" The priest asked. There was high security at the church, there was rumours about people trying to stop the wedding so we hired security to stop that happening.

We didn't mind fans being there outside the church but we wasn't doing photos or autographs today, this was our day. We turned to face each other and took each others hands. The service took longer than I expected it to. She was as nervous as I was, I could tell. "And by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

I pulled her in and kissed her. I missed her more than words can describe over the past two weeks. We had to sign the resister and I took her arm and led her out of the church. We took the wedding photos outside the church then we got in the car to go to the reception. I kissed her in the car on the way there, this was the best thin in the world.

We got there and had the dinner then it was time for my speech. "When I met Emily, she was the prettiest girl I had ever saw. But she's not just a pretty face, she's so much more then that. She's talented, smart, funny, everything. She's so gentle, she's been through so much since I've met her. She's the strongest person ever, by now I would've given up if I had been through what she has been through. There was a time where I thought I was going to loose her and the pain I felt was like no other. She's not just my wife, she's my best friend. I know for a fact that I couldn't cope without her and I would love to spend the rest of my life loving her."

I sat down and everyone was in tears. "Ricky, I love you so much, that was beautiful." Emily said in tears. I pulled her closer and hugged her. I never knew I could be so emotional.
