Jungkook was Wendy's best friend. They played together, draw together, sing together and so much more, but when he gets a girlfriend, he leaves her, like an orphan.

Tomorrow at school I have a test to study for. And just like my training earlier today, I don't need distractions. Like Jungkook and his cursed girlfriend. I hated turning down his offer to take me home. But I couldn't help it, the moment Haeli walked in I felt my world crush right before me. I decided not to go home, but instead walk to the library to study and prepare for my test. The best part about this library is that it has a cafe in it too! The smells of coffee and old books is what I need to clear my mind. I walked up the door and went inside. My body feeling at ease as I look for a table near a window. I walk up to the counter to order myself a drink.
"Can I have a....hot chocolate?"
"Sure..that will be 5,000 won" I handed her the money and gave her my name. I walked over to the table, with the sun shining on the seats and the table top. I waited and looked around outside. Leaves dancing around through the wind. This fall is very beautiful. With all the yellows, oranges and reds. I felt my body ease more into my seat, but was stopped when my name was called. I got my drink and headed straight to work. My glasses on, textbooks and notebooks open. This test is about how the solar system got created. I do love science but it's not my most favorite subject. So there are eight planets. And sadly pluto isn't one anymore. But the planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars-
"Hello...may I sit here?" I looked up to find a very cute and charming guy. I smiled at him.
"Sure go ahead"
"I apologize for interrupting your studies" He said, his voice darling.
"That's ok, I just got started anyway, what's your name?"
"My name? My name's vernon"
"Nice to meet you Vernon I'm Wendy"
"Pleasure to meet you Wendy" He said, pulling out his textbooks. I did look around though, just to see if there wasn't anymore tables left. And I was right. I looked back down at my notes and books. So Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Our solar system consists of four solid planets and four gas planets. The big red dot on Saturn is a huge storm. The Asteroid Belt is between Mars and Jupiter. Mars has a canyon the size of the United States. Mars also has the largest moutian in the solar system called Olympus Mons. And yet the youngest out of all the large mountains. I have so much information to take in. I am thankful to be studying it all now instead of later on tonight. Where I cram in every piece of information in a few hours.
"You're studying the solar system?"
"Yes I am..it's for a class in school" Vernon nodded his head. He's has such a cute voice and he seems like a very nice guy, even though I've meet him like five minutes ago. For Jungkook it took me years to develop any sort of feeling towards him. With Vernon, I feel like this is what love at first sight means. Of course he doesn't go to my school or else I would've recognized him.
"What school do you go to?"
"Jung Kose"
"Ah my parents may say I need to go to another school soon"
"Why? And do you know which one?"
"Because of some bullies at my old school and I'm not sure which one yet" I softly nodded, understanding his situation a little bit. Now, Mars has two moons. Phobos and Deimos. Saturn's rings are made of rocks, dust and ice. Saturn as 53 moons. Jupiter I believe has 53 as well? I take a sip of my hot chocolate and finish high lighting notes and decide to make flash cards to tonight and tomorrow morning for the class. Vernon's chocolate eyes watched me, my cheeks threatening to turn red. I literally just met this guy for the first time, who knows If I'll even meet him again.
"Making flash cards?"
"Yep its to help me study tonight and tomorrow so the information stays fresh on my mind"
"Cool, you seem like a very well organized person"
"Thank you"
"I wish I was organized a little bit more"
"You're not?" And that's where our conversation started. We talked for minutes about our tastes in music, funny stories from our childhood, places we've been and so much more. His laugh brings such joy in my heart that I haven't felt in a while. Of course we kept our voices down so no one else was going to be disturbed. I smiled as Vernon was telling me a story.
"I do enjoying rapping though, but I don't know if I'm that good though"
"Maybe you could rap for me one day?"
"Would you be willing to hear me?"
"Yes I would, very much so!"
"Wow. thank you! That means a lot" I looked down at my phone. Ignoring the texts and missed calls from Jungkook. 3:46 PM. I frowned slightly and started packing away my stuff.
"Where are you going now?"
"I'm going home, it's been a long day"
"Ah....maybe....we could trade numbers?" I blushed and smiled at his offer.
"Sure..." He gave me his phone I put my contact information in it. I smiled and waved him goodbye.
"Bye Vernon, thank you for the wonderful afternoon"
"You're welcome Wendy bye!!" I felt every single puzzle piece fall into place. My heart pulled back together and my rosy cheeks back in form. I haven't felt this way about a guy in a while, well ever since Jungkook started dating Haeli that is. But chills covered my body from the cold wind outside but also from the warm and cozy feeling on the inside. I kept walking but got a text from a number, smiling I knew who it was immediately.
