1.10 Huo Shen

" Shen " Huo Jun calls endearingly, "I'll use the washroom." Huo Jun said as he walked out knowing a very pissed female lead is following behind.

Our dazed male lead is still staring blankly at the lunch box while thinking of his Jun's last words. After all his Jun might marry him, he needs to start chasing properly and chase away the other wolves.

Starring at the lunch box, Huo Shen stares with reluctance, seeing his Jun's first handmade meal for him really make him reluctant to even touch it.

After awhile, our male lead snapped back to reality, realizing that his Jun doesn't know where the toilet is. Chasing after the two figures, Huo Shen quickly approached them.

"Why? Why is it that you get everything that is supposed to be mine?? WHY?!!" The female lead goes crazy as her voice grew louder and louder attracting attention.

" Yours? Aren't you being to confidence in yourself? Old hag." Huo Jun magnificently retorted.

"Y-You!!" Her face contorted in anger especially the final words, it was a finishing blow to the already irked female lead.

" You. You. You. What is it with women and their yous? Do you have some speech impairment or something?" Huo Jun muttered, loud enough for the female lead to hear.

Jia Jia was about to pour the hot tea onto Huo Jun's head but hearing a sudden "Stop!!" , her movements faltered and the trajectory of the tea missed and spilled onto Huo Jun's hands where the cuts were.

(Rahzel: Sorry to spoil the mood buttt... did anyone notice that the tea is still piping hot?? Like I mean did all those scen happen within 7 min???)

"Ahhhh!!!!" Huo Jun screamed in pain.

'That wasn't supposed to happen!' Unable to take the pain, Huo Jun knees buckled and fell to the floor as Huo Shen ran towards him.

" F**K OFF!" Huo Shen aggressively shout as he pushed the female lead away. While Huo Shen carries Huo Jun off, the female lead began laughing maniacally a crazed look in her eyes.

Looking at the deathly pale Huo Jun in his arms, Huo Shen muttered a string of curses before stopping the closing lift with his leg, surprising the people inside. Seeing the deathly pale teen and their anxious boss , none of them made a sound and held their breath as the lift reached the first floor. Nobody dared to move even after their boss had left the lift.

Driving towards the same hospital since it was the closest, Huo Shen stole peeks at Huo Jun checking every few seconds.

" Back so soon??? It hasn't even been a week."

"Doctor his fingers how are they?"

Taking out the plaster while Huo Jun flinched in pain they could all see how painful it was for Huo Jun.

' Xiao Bao Zi.. Pain killers!!' Huo Jun mentally gritted out.

Pretending to faint, Huo Jun watched their conversation with Bao zi help.

"JUN!" Huo Shen immediately supported Huo Jun the moment he fainted. "How is he??" Huo Shen said anxiously.

Huo Jun's dainty pale hands were now bright red from the scalding tea, the fresh cuts although not bleeding looks horrible and certainly painful. It was no wonder that Huo Jun fainted from the pain. Narrowing his eyes, Huo Shen made sure after this he would make that Liu Jia Jia's life a living hell.

Devoting all his time to Huo Jun, Huo Shen diligently stayed by Huo Jun's side. If his Jun wanted the world, he would do anything to get it as long as his Jun is happy.

Thinking back to the culprit, Huo Shen decides to stay dormant first and find opportunities. Grabbing his phone, he dialed Jin Ze.

" I want you to monitor Liu Jia Jia and send me everyone she's been in contact with the past few months."

" Yes boss."
