2.13 George Walter

Watching the second episode of the newly aired TOP, the audience found themselves liking Joshua more and more, completely captivated by his design and fairy looks. Lionel and Ariel had their fair share of fans as well however that could not beat Joshua's fan base which had build up overnight.

Joshua's votes remain high as usual, at 8.9 while Lionel and Ariel were neck to neck, at the 7's. Rose had little votes but her skills had actually brought her up, allowing her survival despite her fashion sense.

The remaining half of the contestants lined up as they waited for the instructions from the judges.

"Today, we are going to be going somewhere fun!" was all Marlynn said.

Getting onto the bus that was prepared for them, the contestants entered the bus one by one, Joshua being the last to enter. After him was the three judges.

Lionel sat with Ariel on the bus. It was a natural since they were now dating, however, no one else except Joshua knows. Having no one else to seat with, Joshua sits alone on the inside, facing the window. That was when Joshua felt the familiar tingles. George nonchalantly sat beside him, giving a casual , " There was no more seats." Before shutting up as if he just explained his whole life to Joshua.

Stifling his laughter, Joshua just gleefully smiled at George, who was trying to keep his impassive face. Which failed, seeing his lips twitched.

Halfway through the ride Joshua felt a hand creeping onto his thigh. Raising an eyebrow, he gave George impassive stare that said a mental what are you doing. George, pretended he didn't see Joshua's impassive face and continued leaving his hand there, squeezing a few times. Other than that, George didn't do anything else but just stared forward.

Joshua then closed his eyes and slept for the remaining journey, leaning his head on George's shoulder.

'Xiao Bao Zi. I would like to use my lucky spin ticket.'

[Yes host] Bao Zi said as a spinning wheel appeared in Joshua's head.

[When host wants the wheel to stop just say stop.]

The wheel then started slowly turning. 'Oh right Bao Zi what is this spin for?'

[Replying host, host may get anything, this thing can be something that sticks with host or something that may only be used once.]

'mhm. Stop.'

The wheel slowed to a stop, landing on a question mark. To be honest, all of the prizes were question marks.

[Congratulations host, you have received a scroll. Would you like to open it?]

'Yea'

[Host has received a one time use of a bottle off mineral water.]

'.....'

[....]

'......'

[ Host wan't lucky.]

' Use my other ticket.'

[Yes host.]

The wheel started spinning again, putting all his luck into this ticket, he said stop.

Rolling to a stop, the wheel landed on another question mark.

[Congratulation host, you received a scroll. Would you like to open it now?]

'Yea'

[ Congratulations host, you have received a egg.]

'Huh??? An egg what the heck?'

[No worries host, this pet can follow you to any world, as long as it doesn't die. You may choose when to hatch it and if you need to hide it, host can place in in system's space starting from the next world onwards. ]

'Understood.I'll hatch it later.'

Feeling a gentle shake on his shoulders, Joshua slowly opened his eyes, meeting forest green ones. Rubbing his eyes, Joshua yawned, showing his tiny canines.

" Time to get off the bus. " George whispered as he stroked his kitten's cheeks before getting down.

Just when Joshua got off the bus, Lionel flashed to his side, using his fingers, he pinched Joshua's cheeks, whispering. " So You and Mr Walters huh? Didn't know you went for the bigshot." Lionel teased the poor Joshua, causing him to flush red.

They had arrived at the animal rescue society, where all kinds of animals were saved from their situations and kept there, waiting to be released into the wild after their recovered or adopted.

Marlynn then instructed, " Today, with the help of these animals, you will be taking photos with them, we are going to promote the best model, by allowing the chance to be on a magazine to the best picture. So all the best! Don't worry, the animals you'll be taking photo with are tamed. Lastly, I want you all to treat these animals with respect you hear me?"

"Yes Ma'mm!!" The remaining chorused.

You will be assigned to your animals now.

" Lionel, leopard."

" Ariel, squirrel"

"Rose, dog"

" Blaire snake"

" Joshua, monkey."

Rose sneered at Joshua, thinking that he definitely couldn't pass this round since luck wasn't on his side. Joshua catching her sneer just calmly sent her a closed eyed smile.

Walking towards the monkey enclosure, Joshua didn't immediately change and took his photo. Instead, Joshua calmly observed the monkeys and their behaviours. After a moment, he nodded his head to himself, changing into a brown form fitting shirt and a short khaki coloured pants. Wearing casual sneakers for his shoe, Joshua went into the enclosure with a banana.

Making eye contact with his first monkey, a baby monkey, he slowly crouched, only scaring the monkey a short while before the monkey walked slowly towards Joshua, large eyes curiously watching the human in front of it.

Peeling the banana, Joshua used it as peace treaty before passing it to the baby monkey who happily bite into it. Smiling widely, the monkey also smiled happily as if understanding Joshua. The shutter from the camera went off.

Running away, the baby monkey dashed off only to return with its family. They crowded around Joshua, like a bunch of children waiting for their bed time story. In the end, Joshua got a bunch of monkeys that sticked themselves on Joshua, one of the baby monkey used his fingers and poked Joshua on the face causing to laugh out loud, enjoying playing with the monkeys.

While the camera shutter kept going off, the photographer took until he forgot he had to shift sites to take some other contestants photo. Regretfully, the photographer gave Joshua the okay as he packed up his stuff, not before giving his name card, telling Joshua to visit him anytime.

Although Joshua wanted to leave, he was hauled back by the monkeys. Tearfully crying, Joshua gave watery eyes to the worker. The worker paled as he saw the possessive monkeys bare their teeth at him when he wanted to help.

" Get Mr Walters! The male judge!!" Nodding fast, he ran away, leaving Joshua to be smothered by the monkeys.

'Ah didn't think this would happen.'
