This was only one stage out of the many stages, to eliminate the weeds.

Nangong Ou gave Wanqi Jun a confident gaze before standing firmly.

Wanqi Jun watched as a barrier of some sorts erected around Nangong Ou, preventing others from coming near and also repelling others away. Thus Nangong Ou had his own personal space on the stage, with those that wanted to teach him a lesson only to find him immovable. They couldn't even get past his barrier!

Nangong Ou spared Wanqi Jun one last glance before he sat crossed legged and cultivated while the competition was still ongoing. Wanqi Jun just smirked and he closed his eyes, continuing to fan himself. As expected his standby motion was always active and without knowing he caught the attention of Bo Yue, Bo Yue who was stunned silly by Wanqi Jun was unprepared as she got hit by a attack.

Bo Yue snapped back in reality, and she found herself near the weird dude who was cultivating with a barrier on the arena. Wanqi Jun coincidentally used this time to look at Nangong Ou only to see he met the next harem member.

Nangong Ou opened his eyes to meet the intruder, only to see a beauty, Bo Yue. Of course Nangong Ou was unaffected by Bo Yue's looks, in his eyes and heart there was only his shifu that looked the best, no one in this entire world could compare.

While Wanqi Jun was dazing away, his standby motion made many contestants distracted, especially Bo Yue. Bo Yue had high standards for guys, although Nangong Ou caught her eyes, she wasn't interested in him, instead the handsome guy sitting at the top was more to her taste, since he was up there he was powerful right?

Nangong Ou looked at Bo Yue's line of sight, only to see Wanqi Jun's handsome figure, elegantly fanning himself. Nangong Ou felt his face blacken, his shifu was too much! Why did he have to attract attention everywhere he went..

Being pampered from her sect head, since she was both talented and beautiful, she couldn't help but feel the anger bubble up. With her talent, she could make it to the finals but it wasn't even the semi finals and she was out at the elimination round? This was too unfair!!! Too unfair!!

The sect competition is held annually! Waiting for next year was too long! And this year was a special year, where talents popped up left and right, if she were to shine next year it would be too late! How was she going to explain to master?? In the previous plot, Bo Yue fell for Nangong Ou in the semi finals, where she was defeated by the male lead. But now she was eliminated so early on, which means she lost her chance with Nangong Ou and it seems they already met, so his mission can be fulfilled.
