7.5 Vincent Quinn

Vincent and Oliver was in the library. They wanted to spend time together and this was the place to do so, a quiet serene place.

Oliver sat in between Vincent's legs, completely engulfed by Vincent who had his arms draped loosely onto Oliver. Oliver was reading a book, while Vincent was playing with his mate.

( Rahzel: No, not that way, )

Vincent played with bunches of hair on Oliver's head, twirling them, twisting them, tying them. Then he got bored and decided to bury his face in Oliver's neck, Oliver shuddered a little.

Oliver raised his palms before giving Vincent two pats on the head and continued reading his book. The couple ignored everything around them, the whispers the gazes and everything. Many in the library already took photos and posted them on the school forum, for everyone to see.

Oliver wasn't trying to hide their relationship, he also wasn't trying to show it. But he didn't want people to find out from them telling, he wanted them to figure it out themselves.

" Vincent, you really don't know Linda? She seems quite hurt." Oliver carelessly tossed out a question.

" Why are you protecting her? I heard she was the mate of that Jacque dude." He tossed back another question and sniffed Oliver's neck. Tempting, it really was tempting.

" She is." Was all Oliver said before he flipped a page.

" Well, she didn't put my precious mate in her eyes, she deserved it." His half opened eyelids, glance at Oliver's ears which was red, Vincent thought, 'How cute' before biting the red ears. His fangs caused beads of blood to form and Oliver yelped as he grabbed his ears.

He was shushed by the librarian muttering a soft sorry before turning to glare at the culprit who was looking at him with huge innocent eyes.

" What?" Vincent said.

Oliver snatched up Vincent's hand before ferociously biting down, causing Vincent to grunt, looking at Oliver incredulously, "Hey! I bit your earlobe and you're biting my hand here!" He whisper shouted while Oliver gave him a victorious serve you right look.

Oliver swatted Vincent away like a fly before proceeding to read his book like nothing happened.

"Treacherous mate," and Vincent received another swat.

" Oliver." Oliver hummed in response. " When we graduate, I'm gonna marry you." Cue the book drop and whispers. Apparently, he was loud enough for others to hear.

"Sure." Oliver said casually like Vincent did not just proposed, he was used to marrying him. If that even made sense.

Vincent looked at him incredulously again. Did his little mate not hear him?

" I said, I'm going to marry you when we graduate. " He stated slowly, pronouncing each word clearly.

" And I said, sure." Oliver shot back.

Vincent boisterously laughed out loud , causing the librarian to shout at them again.

On the school forum, there was a huge picture of them sitting together, with huge fonts of Vincent proposing. Most of the school population, although they used to look down on Oliver, from the picture, Oliver seemed like he found his mate and they had no other reasons to bully him.

They should be happy for him, but now they felt a teeny bit guilty.

Linda on the otherhand didn't understand what was going on. She felt mixed feelings. Linda herself knew she used to like Vincent, she remembered their past clearly. He should have became her mate, but turned out it wasn't him.

Unconsciously, she compared Jacque who was beside her and the loving male lead. Everyone knows the male lead would provide endless of love and would make the female lead happy no matter the obstacles she goes through.

Linda who always sees herself as the female lead of the world, which she is but she didn't know. It was her arrogance that made herself believe in something she wasn't even sure of.

If she was the female lead, and Vincent was the male lead, she had to get him. Jacque was more of the second male lead and she was sure that Vincent had a way to make them mates. What she didn't know was her deductions were spot on, sadly for her, there was Oliver.

She didn't know he had extra information. She didn't know he could change everything. She also didn't know he would be her downfall.
