Souhaila's Pov
I woke up by the voices of two men. The voices were unknown to me and it seemed better to pretend I was still asleep. I tried to follow their conversation, but I was too dazed to focus. Only a few sentences reached my disoriented mind. '... are you sure it's the right person? ...' One of the two men asked.
' ... Yes, of course, her eyes have the right colors...' A domineering dark voice answered. '...There are more girls with heterochromia...' The man spoke doubtfully. He was apparently unsure of the case they were doing.
I couldn't think clearly. My head seemed to be stuffed with cotton wool. They obviously talked about a girl, do they talk about me?
'Stop hesitating!' I heard a hard bang followed by a soft cry of the doubting man. 'If it isn't her, I'll personally get rid of her.' The deep dark voice threatened. Angry footsteps were loud thumping away
Before I could worry about the words, I slipped into a deep restless sleep.

'Souhaila, Souhaila, look in my eyes.' A familiar voice urged me to open my eyes. I stared right into the heterochromia eyes of a beautiful woman. We were standing in blue air, surrounded by misty clouds and silver threads flowed around us. Wait, what? Heterochromia? Who is this woman? 'Souhaila, listen to me. Don't be scared. It's urgently to get control over your powers as soon as possible. 'Why would I talk to a person I don't even know?' I asked on my guard. The beautiful woman laughed patiently. Her tingling laugh filled the air. 'Dear, Souhaila. You don't always have to know the people you're talking with. Sometimes it's better not to know who the person is, my young lady.' Ugh, she doesn't intend to introduce herself. 'Well, since you won't introduce yourself and I don't think you made me awake for nothing, why do you want to talk with me?'
Again her laugh filled the air. Silver sparkles flowing in the air and as soon as she stopped laughing, the sparkles splashed down into a magical twinkeling rain. She looked at me patiently. 'Young impatient lady, you've never changed.' She smiled and shook her head. Her eyes filled with wisdom. How old would she be? I wondered in silence. 'Stop asking so many things and focus on what needs to be done. I'll help you awaken. Try to escape to your mate. You'll need him on your mission.' She raised her hand when I tried to interrupt her. 'Take him with you to your grandma and let her explain what will happen.' '
'My grandma,' I repeated disapprovingly. 'Since you seem to know a lot, you'll probably know it won't help to talk about such things with her. I said sarcastically, but I couldn't hide my disappointment in her. 'Souhaila, give her a chance.' For a second her eyes became sadly, then the sadness disappeared and her eyes started twinkling like they did before. 'Listen, you don't have much time left. Wake up and try to go to your soulmate. Speak with your grandma, the rest will show itself.' The shape of the woman began to fade. 'I know you can do it, just trust yourself and your mate and remember; don't trust people.' Her last words were carried by the wind which arose when the woman disappeared into a shimmering cloud.

' Look, her eyelids vibrates she will be awake in a few seconds.' A woman spoke. I couldn't remember whose voice it was, but I knew that voice.
'Three, two, one, she's awake by now.'
Unless she was gambling, which wasn't really improbable, she probably had a kind of power to know things, other people didn't know. It might be the power to look in the future, though I hoped it wasn't.. I didn't know whether they were going to hurt me, but the voice of the wise woman echoed through my head. 'Don't trust people... Don't trust people....' At least for now, I will do what she said. I promised myself.
If I had to fight, it could turn out badly when there were more people with powers. If only she had a power, I might be able to fight against her, but I didn't know how many people were in the room. I didn't even know where I was.
I tried to open my eyes, but my eyes didn't move. I did another attempt. This time, my eyes opened. I let my eyes adjust to the sudden light that shone in my eyes. When the darkness retreated from my eyes, I could see there were three people staring at me. The person nearest to me was a middle-aged woman with bright green eyes. I couldn't deny she was very pretty. Behind her stood two handsome guards. Why were they all so pretty? I wondered a bit pissed off. Focus on what needs to be done. The words of the timeless woman remembered me to focus and stay on my guard.
'Well, well, Sleeping Beauty is awake,' a sneer voice sounded. One of the guys I thought they were guards, had spoken the words. I turned to face him. Cold black eyes from a, in my opinion, way too white face, stared into my eyes. A shiver went down my spine when a cold feeling went through my body. 'Harlan, stop. We have to use this girl, not to play with her.' The middle-aged woman warned the man.
The other man stopped the bickering of them. He walked to me and looked deep into my eyes. 'Souhaila, isn't it?' I kept my face straight, without response. 'We won't hurt you if you cooperate. Tell us where to find the crystal to Darelian.' This time I couldn't hide my expression. I was surprised. I've never heard about it. Maybe it wasn't smart to let them know I didn't know about Darelian.
'Ah, I see you're surprised we know about Darelian.' I swallowed a relieved sigh. He had fortunately misinterpreted my expression. 'I can tell you, we know a lot about Darelian. We only need you to say where the stone is.'
How could I know? I have never heard about Darelian. I replied in mind. I refused to speak.
'Stupid girl, you should know we've to hurt you if you don't speak.' threatened the man. I realized he likely was the boss of the other guard and the woman.
When again I didn't answer, the coldness of the guard, named Harlan, flowed through my body. I didn't show them how much it hurt. Harlan's eyes widened surprised. He sent another cold stream into me. I ignored the pain and looked him deep in the eyes. An inner instinct told me what to do. Without doubt, I blocked the pain by building a mental shield and sent his coldness back. He stambled a few steps backwards and collapsed. Yeah, 1-0 to me. Thanks, guard, you've helped me find one of my powers! I thought excitedly.
The bossy white man looked at me menacingly. I looked calmly back into his jet-black eyes. 'Do not play games with me,' he said with suppressed rage pronouncing each word separately to instill fear.
'I won't,' I said fearless. His eyes became even colder. He brought his up hand to hit me hard against my temple and I got black spots before my eyes. I thought to stay conscious and after a few minutes, the black spots disappeared.
An idea formed in my head. The wise woman had told me I had to go to Devan. However I still hadn't decide if I really wanted to bind with him or even if I wanted to stay my whole life with him, I truly needed his help. I've known this room before and if I were right, behind this door was a hallway that led to the outside.
While I was thinking, a hot swirling energy streamed inside my body. It was as if it had awaken when I used the other powers. Without hesitating, I sent the energy to the girl and the man with the jet-black eyes. Harlan still laid unconscious on the ground. The girl collapsed with a loud smack on the ground. Although, it unfortunately didn't seem to hurt the man, I was in favor because I had surprised him. I ran to the door. The man shouted loudly after me.
The first steps were shaky, since I hadn't walked for a while, but I ignored it and forced my legs to run harder. I was lucky there weren't people in the corridor except for one single young boy. I pushed him to the side hoping I hadn't hurt him too much.
I knew the white man wasn't far behind me, but I didn't let myself look back. I threw open the door and tried to ran even harder. I knew the white man wasn't human, because he had an incredibly speed, but I had it too.
When I looked back for an instant, a hand grabbed my arm and placed me into a truck which immediately began to run.
Who will have taken her into the truck? Friends or enemies?? I'll soon give you the answer!
