I Depend On You (Why Don't We fanfic)

The Party

Jonah's POV.
       Leah calls me one night and invites me to a party that Dax's friend is having. I really don't want to go, but I'm going to protect Leah. Leah drives, which scares me so bad because she's a terrible driver, but we finally get there. Snyder, a guy in the gang, is holding the party at his house. It's a small two story house on the edge of town. We go inside and there are a lot of people. Most of them are drunk. I ask Leah, "Do you even know all these people?"
Leah replies, "Not all of them. I only know the ones that are in the gang."
"And who are they?" I ask.
Leah answers, "Well there's Dax, Snyder, Tasha, and a few others. 13 total."
"There are like 50 people here." I say.
"I see that." Leah replies.
I respond, "So where's Dax?"
Leah answers, "Umm I'm not sure."
Then a girl comes up to us and Leah introduces me to her, her name is Tasha. Tasha pulls Leah into the party and I follow them. I sit down on the couch and Tasha offers, "So Jonah would you like a drink?"
I answer, "No thanks."
"Suit yourself." Tasha replies, "Leah, a drink?"
Leah sighs then says, "Fine. But only one, and a small one."
Tasha rolls her eyes then replies, "Your such a goody goody. Come on."
Tasha and Leah start to walk away, but I grab Leah's arm. She asks, "What?"
I reply, "Be careful. Don't do anything stupid."
She answers, "Don't worry I'll be fine. You don't have to protect me."
Tasha and Leah walk off and I just sit there looking at my phone. Time goes by and Leah hasn't came back yet. It's been almost an hour and I'm getting worried. I start looking for her and asking people if they've seen her when finally I spot Tasha. I feel relieved and go to Tasha, but Leah isn't with her. I ask Tasha, "Have you seen Leah?"
She replies, "No. She went off with Dax about 20 minutes ago."
"Ok. Do you know where they went?" I ask.
Tasha answers, "Uhh. I don't know. Sorry."
"Ok. Thanks." I say.
I walk around the house looking for Leah and I finally find her. I see her with Dax and a couple of other guys. I go up to Leah and ask, "Leah, where have you been? I've been looking all over for you."
Leah is drunk and she asks, "Why? You're not my babysitter."
Dax says, "Yeah. She doesn't want you all over her. So back off, you're not her boyfriend."
"Well I'm sorry, but she's only 18." I respond grabbing Leah's arm, "Come on Leah. I'm taking you home."
Leah slaps me and says, "No. You're not the boss of me."
Dax pushes me and says, "Yeah. Just go home."
I take a deep breath then reply angrily, "I'm not leaving this place without her." I start to take her with me towards the door, but she pushes me and yells, "Get off of me Jonah!"
Then Dax pulls her away from me and I say, "Fine."
I go back to my spot on the couch as I watch Dax give Leah a kiss. I go to the bathroom. When I come come back from the bathroom I notice that Leah and Dax aren't there anymore. I slowly walk around the house trying to find them so I can keep an eye on Leah. I can't find them so I start to go upstairs. I go upstairs and start to look for them. I notice that all the doors are open except one. I knock on the door, but no one answers. Then I hear someone groan. I swallow hard and open the door. I see Leah laying on the bed passed out and Dax on top of her. I run to them and pull Dax off of her. I push him to the ground, pick Leah up, and carry her out of the house. I set her in the passenger seat then I get in the car. As soon as I start the car she throws up in the floorboard. I help her clean herself up and give her a water bottle that was in the console. She says, "I'm sorry about earlier. That was very uncool of me. Thank you for saving me from Dax."
I reply, "Anytime. He doesn't deserve you anyways. All he wanted was sex."
Leah smiled at me then I smiled at her.
"Ok let's go." I say as I start to pull out of he driveway. I take her home and help her into her house. She throws up 2 more times on the way home and I have to help her get to her bed. Her parents thank me for bringing her home, and then I go home.
