I Depend On You (Why Don't We fanfic)

The Fire

Zach's POV.
       Cheyenne and I come into the Why Don't We house through the back door making out and ending up on the couch undressing each other. After a couple minutes, I hear someone clear their throat. Cheyenne and I turn and see Daniel standing in the kitchen with his arms crossed as Jonah and Leah come through the front door, then Caleb starts to cry from his baby swing in the corner of the living room. "Hey guys." I laugh.
"Really? There's a baby in here," Leah responds.
"At least he was asleep," I smirk.
Jonah tries not to laugh but starts to laugh anyways. Leah smacks him. "You could at least go upstairs," Leah says.
"Yeah, get a room," Jonah smiles.
Corbyn and Jack come in as Cheyenne and I go upstairs. "Hey guys. What's going on?" Corbyn asks.
Daniel answers, "Zach was getting laid."
Jack responds, "Well that's nothing knew."
Cheyenne and I go to my bedroom and about 15 minutes later we hear the fire alarm go off. "Is that the fire alarm?" Cheyenne asks.
"It probably just needs the battery changed don't worry about it," I reply. After it goes off a few more times Cheyenne says, "I think you should go check on it."
"It's fine. The guys are probably still down there so they'll take care of it," I respond. It goes off again and Cheyenne pushes me off her and says, "Go check on it."
"Ok," I reply, "I'll be right back."
I go to the kitchen and see that everyone else is gone and they must've taken Caleb with them because he isn't in his swing anymore. I change out the smoke alarm batteries but as I start to go back upstairs it goes off again. I start to get worried so I walk around the house opening all the doors downstairs until I get to the laundry room. When I open the door to the laundry room I see that the dryer has caught fire and now the fire is hitting the walls and spreading very fast. I scream and run outside as fast as I can. When I get outside I see everyone coming out of Jonah and Leah's house looking at the fire. When I get to everyone I am out of breath and scared. I see Christina calling 911. Leah asks, "Where's Cheyenne?"
"Oh no," I yell, "Cheyenne!" I start running back to the house but David holds me back and yells, "Stay here," as he goes in to get Cheyenne. I see Cheyenne come from around the house, I run to her, and pick her up and hold her tight. Then I see the roof of the house collapse, with David inside.
