Chapter 21: Studio=Distraction!

"Maybe you could do a double tap on the cymbal accented by the bass drum instead of attacking the snare drum," I suggested to Glen who was jamming out on the drum kit. He did the pattern the same way with the tiny change. Glen seemed very pleased with the result. There was a giant grin on his face so I'd at least like to think he liked it. The pair of us have been in the studio for just over 15 minutes and we already had a drum part to shove in our back pocket. If our trip here is as effective as it has been and stayed here all day, the chances of having demos for the 5th album are quite high, but I highly doubt that well stay this productive since this unlike us and were not building the skeleton to a new album just yet.

"That was bloody epic," I complimented as Glen emerged from the small enclosed room where the drum kit was set up. "And it's a good thing you're not claustraphobic ," I added. I got a chuckle out of him with that.

"I don't think I'd be able to have this career of I was claustraphobic," He commented. "The studios, long airplane rides, and being in the tour bus for extended periods of times." WIth this it would be an understatement if I said we were laughing. I didn't really understand why it was so funny but I did know that I couldn't help myself but laugh. I guess it's funny because it's the truth. If we were claustraphobic we wouldn't be able to tolerate this lifestyle of ours. I guess it's a damn good thing we're not or where would we be now?

Hello readers! It's been such a long time since I've had an actual update to this. I know it's not much, not even exceeding 300 words but I didn't really know what else I could do with this chapter. Wait, that's a lie, I had an idea for it but didn't know how to write it without it being awkward so I ditched it and just did this. At least there's a bit of comedy in this chapter. 

As a compensation for this little chapter, I'll try to get you another chapter A.S.A.P. BUt a little warning ahead of time, there's probably going to be a time skip, how large of one, I'm unsure but I at least hope that it won't make things really awkward or something of the sort. 

Please tell me what you think, it's been awhile since I've heard from you and I'd honestly like your opinions on this. I'd appreciate it!
