Another week has passed, quite a pleasurable one at that. The demands from the therapist have decreased in intensity and quantity so the both of us have had more time. We actually haven't met with Dr. Dawson in the past few days, which is definitely a step in the right direction.
Today we're going skiing. I'm not all that great at skiing but I know that Bo is quite fond of it and she hardly ever gets to anymore so I'm going to surprise her. I already got some things arranged and invited some of her best mates to come along. I'm just hoping this is all worth it in the end, and I know it will be when she's giggling with joy as she's rushing down the hill.
"Ready to go?" I asked Bo as I watched her wander around the kitchen, but not my kitchen, her kitchen. The main highlight of this past week was that she'd moved back in to her house. She still drops by my flat for a visit every once in awhile and I go over to hers, Glen usually dropping me off, does some wandering of his own, then picks me up a few hours later.
"Ready to go where?" She asked before answering my question.
"It's a surprise," I replied, a grin slipping onto my face. I could sense that she was about to roll her eyes.
"Whoop there it is!" I muttered under my breath as she rolled her eyes.
"Okay, let's go," She responded.
"Dress warm," I informed, discreetly tipping her a hint. She gave me yet another eye roll as she slid on her snowboots.
It turned out that her definition of dress warm and my definition of dress warm are totally different. Her dressing warm involved a giant faux fur lined parka, two pairs of sweatpants, black snowpants over her sweatpants, multiple pairs of wool socks, and a pair of earmuffs. My dressing warm involved a pair of black jeans, black long-sleeved shirt, my leather jacket, my combat boots, and my beanie. Black attracts the sunlight so I at least should be warmed up by the sun's UV rays. It's obvious to see that I'm afraid Bo will get far too hot because of her multiple layers, while she's afraid I'd freeze because I'm wearing so little, in her opinion anways. It's cold out, but not cold enough out to get me to wear half of what Bo is. I also grew up in Dublin so I'm full well used to cold weather year-round. I guess we'll see who falls down first.

Here's a quick little update for you readers! This took me forever to conjure up so I hope you at least somewhat enjoy it. It took me at least a week to figure out what the god damn season was and if they could go on a ski trip. I hope to update again sometime soon but I can't make much of a promise. School manages to get in the way of everything so that means as schoolwork gets more demanding the less time there is for me to update, but I'll certainly try my hardest. Tell me what you think!
