Chapter 38: War

Lauren POV:

We were all in place, the only thing left was for Dinah to make the first move, we waited some time till Dinah spoke in link about fighting them. Everyone moved in apart from the caste guards who stayed at the castle area in case they try to go there. I was stood waiting to hear the footsteps of an alpha, but instead I caught a scent of small pups. We sat watching and waiting, I sent a few troops to go get the pups. They must have taken them to the castle because they didn't return. 

"Lauren! Coming your way." Lucia said through link making me nod at the soldiers.

I felt the alpha near by knowing Brad was still alive, I wanted to kill him myself. I shifted, everyone watched me and then they shifted. Waiting till I heard footsteps get closer I charged into the woods, the trees passed me by so fast. I followed the scents and footsteps making me come to a ledge, I looked around because they were here. I jumped down, safely and growled seeing Brad cowering. 

"Lauren please. I have cubs here." He pleaded.

"The guards will take them and you will be sent to jail if you comply." I growled.

"Okay okay." He said getting all the cubs out.

"Take them to the castle." 

"Thank you Lauren." He thanked me repeatedly.

I growled smelling more rogues surrounding me, I turned and spotted his Beta, I knew this was an attack at least he got the cubs out of the way. I attacked Brad, my soldiers taking on the others. War was now here and I needed to kill him so others would start to stand down. Brad howled, alerting everyone around him then I started to fight. I wasn't gonna let him take a victory. We were biting and scratching each other making others fight, there was no calming the situation as the royal guards came over to fight. Some rogues submitted easily making this job a lot easier.

"Thought you might need back up." I heard Lucia say in link making me turn to see her.

"Fighting their beta are you?" I asked still fighting him.

"Beta? I just killed him." She laughed.

"You're crazy." I laughed.

"You love it. I have a family to get home too." 

"A family?"

"4 babies Lauren." 

"Holy shit."

I bit into Brad's neck pulling his fur off, making him howl in pain, I proceeded to bite into his neck, killing him. His body laid limp on the floor, blood pouring out as I howled, marking the end of the war. My alpha tone stood out as I waited to hear for everyone else's response, Dinah replied, then Normani, then Jade. Y/N replied naturally and then I laughed hearing 4 small barks the pups they were new and highly submissive. We got the royal guards to dispose of the bodies making me and Lucia walk to the castle laughing. She was over excited to see the pups because Ally must have been linking her the whole time. 

"So... 2 boys 2 girls?" I asked.

"3 boys, 1 girl." She said making me nod.

"Congrats dude."
