Chapter 57: A rat

Lauren's POV:

There was a rat in my pack and I needed to find them. Lucia had already began to question people, obviously not asking the main question. I was watching everyone, everyone who moved their shifts, everyone who would try to talk to Y/N and everyone who talked to me. I had to make sure this rat was found because they knew things.

"Laurser." I heard someone call my name making me look over.

I saw Dinah with Y/N and her friends, they were laughing as Dinah blushed. Dinah was not allowed to give me nicknames but she had called me this now. I glared slightly but Y/N was laughing, her laughing made me smile.

"Yes?" I asked watching them giggle.

"Y/N wants to go out to a restraunt with us. That's okay right?" I watched as they all nodded.

"Sure. Just keep an eye on her Dinah. Take Normani too." She nodded and rushed off.

I knew she'd be safe with Cara, Kendall and Norminah. Due to the fact I had googled Cara earlier, going past the modelling and seeing the real wolf killers life. However, she never 'killed' a wolf to say. She'd injure them if they threatended her but killed other supernaturals. I was impressed by her, especially when she spoke so highly of Y/N and her family.

"Laurey." Y/N's voice caught my attention.

"Yeah baby?" I asked.

"Can we have some money?" She spoke.

"Of course baby." I smiled and grabbed my bank card.

"Get whatever you need. Go shopping after." She nodded.

"I love you." She smiled kissing me.

"Love you too baby." I smiled into the kiss.

"We gonns go now." She said pointing to the girls.

"Go ahead." I smiled and watched her leave.

"Luna stay here." She said to her wolf.

Luna whined but huffed, she agreed ultimately. I smiled and walked to her sitting with her and petting her. She licked my hand, making me giggle. We watched Y/N leave and then looked at eachother not knowing what to do.

"Lets go feed you." I said walking to the kitchen.

"Lauren." Someone pulled me away from the walk.

"Woah what the?" I looked and saw Lucia.

"I have an idea on the rat." She spoke in a hushed tone.

"Who?" I asked.

"I thi-"

We heard a bark and I looked over at Luna, she looked confused as to where we where.

"Here Luna." I said walking back into her sight.

"Lauren. Don't forget." Lucia warned walking off.

"I know." I sighed.

"I'll go train new guards."

"It's fine. I'm gonna walk with Luna. She could use a walk around the woods."

"Okay. Bye you two." She smiled waving.

"Lets go on a walk." I spoke to Luna as we decended down the steps.

"So, this convo is one sided...is it true you're Luna? The moon godess?" I asked.

I was met with silence meaning I was either an idiot for asking or she had no response.

"I'll take that as a no." This time I was met with a huff.

"Yes?" This time a bark.

"Woah. So my wolf if your mate and I'm Y/N's?" I asked trying to word it right.

A bark again as I smiled and thought about it.

"What about pups?" This made her stop.
