I collapse into someones arms, feeling light headed.
Filled with confusion.
"Hey your okay" Jack smirks down at me.
What?
"I-I thought - what's happening?. Am I alive?"
"Your trying.." he whispers, putting a hair behind my ear.
I slowly stand up, looking down at the same white dress as before.
I'm dead...
My head spins, making me stumble.
I touch the side of the cold stone wall, trying to catch my balance.
"Take it easy." Gilinsky says, holding up my arm.
"I wanted to stay with you. But you got me to wanna go back. And now I cant?!" I ask, suddenly frustrated.
"Jess I told you, your trying ." Jack takes my hand.
"Not hard enough." I mumble.
But why am I angry? I get to see my best friend again.
"I have a few more things to show you. But after you gotta promise me you'll fight hard enough to go back ?"
"I just-"
"Nope. Promise me." I can see the tint of tears in his eyes.
"I promise" I whisper, pulling him into another hug.

~Matts POV~
I fumble with the black box in my hands.
If only I had given it to her that night.
She would have been with me.
I would have knew something was up.
I could have helped her.
But no.
I just had to wait until morning.
Yeah. Well for her.. There was no next morning.
I wonder what's happening with her right now..
Is she in heaven?
Dreaming?
Or is she awake but can't show any sign?
I dont know.
But wherever she is.
it's not fair.
"Bud dinners ready.." Cam tells me from the hallway.
I look up.
Yup . Tear stains all down his shirt.
"What are we having ?" I ask
"Um-we're-"
"Don't tell me we're having shrimp and pasta." I rub my temple.
"I-we-"
"You know that's her favorite!" I stand up, slamming my fist on the wall.
"Matt I-"
"Don't Cam. Just tell the others I'm not hungry."
He slowly nods his head, leaving me to myself.
"Why?" I look up into the sky, "why her?"
**
~Jess's POV~
"Matt please don't cry." I whisper, swallowing my own tears.
"Why her!" He screams, throwing a pillow across the room.
"Is there a way he can tell I'm here?" I ask Jack, who has tears in his eyes himself.
He thinks for a minute.
"There actually is." He tells me, "watch."
I keep close eye on what he's doing.
He walks towards Matt, lightly blowing on his face.
Matt swats the breeze away.
"Who turned the air on !" He yells, angry.
Jack smirks at me, biting his lip.
He grazes his finger over Matts shoulder, causing him to jump.
"What the hell.." He whispers, sitting back on the bed.
"You try." Jack says, smiling.
I wipe my eyes, walking towards a sad Matt.
Then I get an idea.
I tap on his iPhone.
I hope this works..
He quickly looks down eyes wide.
"What..." He picks up his phone, looking at it weird.
I grin at Gilinsky, pressing Matts home button.
His eyes get so wide they look like they're about to pop out of his head.
I slide the screen and put on his flash light.
Terror fills his face.
"It's okay Matty" I whisper, then I point to the wall. "Jack tap the wall."
Jack knocks his knuckles slightly on the surface and Matt swings his body in that direction, including the flashlight.
Perfect.
I slowly step into the light, looking towards the wall.
"Heyyy! someone's a smarty pants ." Jack says, chuckling.
Matt covers his mouth, staring at the wall.
My hair falling in its long strands, every part of me reflecting on the wall.
It was like I was there.
Like he was looking at my shadow.
"Jess..." He whispers, a tear falling.
Jack steps next to me making it look like he's there too.
"Jack!" Matt says, jumping up.
He puts his hands on his head and walks in a circle.
"Matt stop seeing things." He talks to himself, "stop!"
By now our reflections are gone and it's back to him not knowing we're here.
You don't know how bad id love to be in his arms right now.
Thinking about it makes another tear fall from my cheek.
"We're done baby." Jack says, hugging me from behind.
"What-"
"Go home Jessi"
"Jack I need more-"
"Babe it's okay."
"No Jack-"
"Ill wait for you."
"Please dont-"
"I promise."
My stomach twists and I fall to the ground.
"FUCKKKKKK!" I screech, clutching it.
I look up to see Nash running in the room.
"Matt!" He yells.
"WHAT HAPPENED!?" Matt jumps up startled.
"Bro she's alive."
The room spins and Gilinskys face slowly blurs.
"Goodbye sexy best friend." I whisper as everything goes out of focus.
And I'm brought into darkness.
