Y/N 's P.O.V.

Ok. Let's recall what happened earlier. It was raining, when it subsided for a bit, Subaru and I ran towards my house when the rain suddenly got heavier and then some freakin' unidentified dogs chased us to the depth of the world (just a metaphor) and bit us. Great. Just GREAT.

"Y/N.", the boy across the tub called.

"hm?", I replied.

"Since you seem to be thinking about what happened today, let's discuss about it so we can share thoughts.", Subaru suggested as he told me all he knows about the rumoured 'witch's watchdogs' that sounded 'alien' to me and I as well told him what I know about the topic (the witch).

"So those hell-of-a-dogs... Doesn't look but sound like pets??? (a/n: dunno just added the 'sound like pets' hehe). And why do you think it chased us?" Subaru asked, scratching his head as he rose from the hot tub signaling that he is done bathing.

"Yeah. They bark like pets, but they look like werewolves to me ๏︿๏."

"And they bit us with those sharp teeth. Don't you think we'll have rabie---"

"-And we got chased by them probably because we ran too much." I added as I cut him off of his sentence before he finishes."

"Stop that hobby will ya? Just one syllable and I'm done with my sentence." Subaru pouted while he dried his hair with towel.

"Nevermind that, we need to check out why they just treated us toys and just got tired of us out of the blue."

"So you're saying you could have chosen running for your life until you lose them?"

"I didn't mean it like that. It's just......a little strange to be treated like that by a dog. Even a dog would whimper when it gets hit, and you just smacked 'em just like that but it just 'grr!!' like they felt nothing." I explained as I also rose to dry myself.

"The way you explain is too hilarious. Y/N." he chuckled.

"Thanks for the compliment~~~" I replied with a smile.

Dinner time: 7:00 pm

You and Subaru got changed into a pair of PJs and walked downstairs to meet your mother and your little sister waiting for you at the table.

"Let's eat." said your mother who beamed a smile to the both of you as you sat side by side.

"ITTADAKIMASU!", you all said and digged in.

"Y/N, Subaru-kun. May I ask what happened earlier in the rain?", your mother asked politely.

"umm...", you hesitantly find the right words to tell your mother.

"What happened?", asked the little girl in front of you.

"Uh-You see, we've been uh.... Chased, by some big dogs on the way here, auntie.", explained Subaru who was scratching his head.

"Hm? Big dogs? But no one in this neighbourhood have them. How do they look like?", your confused mom asked.

"They looked like wolves, 1 grey and 1 white, their barks are loud but sounds like a 2 and a half month old labrador.", you described.

"Huh? But nii-chan, most of the people in town only has shitzu 0-0.", your sister added.

A moment of silence followed. Mum decided to break it by making sound using her chopsticks as she laid them on the table.
