Rem (Re:zero) x Male Reader - "Away From Reality, Close To Fantasy"

Meeting

"SUBARU?!" I shouted once again.

"Y/N?!", he yelled again as well.

"WH----WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOU DAMN BALLS?!" I yelled at him, obviously angry at the moment.

"ugh..." a grunt was heard below me.

I took the time to look where the sound came from and the man who I was pursuing just earlier is already tearing up. I let out an 'oh' and put my hands off of him and rose up to stand on my feet. He can't escape in his condition anyway.

"phew... Ow...." the man sighed in relief as he showed an expression of agony right after.

"A-are you alright???" a high pitched voice said with another voice of someone I don't know said in unison. It's the girl and the child I saw with Subaru.

The girl has a silver hair and lilac eyes, she's wearing a white dress with strings of violet in them. The little one is a boy. His hair is black and his eyes are lilac too....

Who are they? I glanced at Subaru with a confused expression. All I got was a stupid smile that says I'll explain. That time, he knew.....

A/N: HE ****** UP

I gave nothing back to him but a deadly glare while the boy ran around the injured man looking for something. The woman just knelt at his side and did something unidentified. Like some sort of magic......

"Hey, Emilia, don't exaust yourself; it's bad for the baby...." Subaru said as he worryingly tried to get near the girl.

WAIT, WHAT?

"Subaru, this man needs help. Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'll be sure not to exaust myself." the woman replied reassuringly.

The white-haired woman put her hands around the man's arm and it suddenly emit a light aura. It was somehow refreshing to look at.

"u-ummm..." I noticed her lose her focus and concentration on whatever she is doing.

"Hm?" I hummed in confusion.

"can you please, not look at me like that? It's.... Kind of embarassing..." her cheeks started to flush lightly.

"oh-uhh... Ok. I'll just talk to that man over there, he is an aquiantance of mine. Can I borrow him for a minute or two?" I asked for permission.

"..... Yes, you may." she said after glancing at Mr. Car for a bit.

Third person's P.O.V.

You approached Subaru and looked back once again, hesitant to leave them with the suspicious guy, instead, you saw the guy thanking the two while he was being healed. You sighed in relief.

"Don't worry too much." the boy in front of you said confidently.

You turned your head to the boy since you were just facing the woman and the boy.

"Are you kiddin' me, idiot?" you replied, glaring at him with your bright, (y/e) eyes. He eventually began to sweat up and broke the brief silence that was made with a nervous laugh.

"And did you just---" your sen5ence was cut off by Mr. Car.

"u-ummmm you see, when I got here, I met her and then..you know... Sought her... And then we----WAIT." Subaru stopped his sentence midway.

"How DID you get here?" he asked, putting emphasis on the word 'did'.

"I do---... I don't know......yet." you said hesitantly, thinking on how you came to this place again.

Silence grew between you two, distant noises could be heard, but not a word got out of your lips.

".... You.....you look young.....like from fifteen years ago;when I last saw you..." Subaru confusingly said.

You just stared at him for a second, dumbfounded for what he had said.

'What?' you said in your mind. You looked at him thourougly, noticing the changes: he grew taller. Taller than you and way thinner. His hair is not pure black anymore; it was not cut the same way it hast used to be; it's like he got a cut from a parlor which he never does. His clothes are.... Blue and white?

"Say............where am I?" Is the only thing you can ask for it's what's bugging you the most.
