I started hearing screams as I got out of the hot springs.

Rem?!

I thought while I wore my clothes as quickly as I can– not even bothering to button up my shirt– and went down the hall as fast as my adrenaline would take me, and...

Shit.

It's that woman again.

The woman, with black hair, big chest, purple dress that is sliced from her legs down to he feet...

The one who killed me.

"Oh~~~ wonderful . . !!" she says, amazed of how strong her opponent was. It was Rem who's she fighting with. On the corner of the hall, I saw Subaru leading his family away. He looked at me, looking like he'll help us later. I understand, though.

I understood.

Rem is buying time for her masters, even going as far as to do anything, getting herself slammed on the wall by that witch, and getting wounded. I hoped it wasn't fatal, but judging by her injuries, she might fall unconcious right now, thankfully, she has a weapon.

Weapon?

I gave no more thoughts and repulsively yelled her name and quickly came to her aid right before the witch's slash.

"ALCK!!"

I fell on my knees right in front of Rem. I felt my organs run out of blood as I heard my blood gush out from the opening on my side. "Y-Y/N-kun . . !!!!" I fell onto Rem as she embraced me with both her hands–injured and wounded– holding me tight. "Wha... What were you thinking?" she stuttered and trembled, her eyes flooded with tears as she caressed my cheek as I lied down her lap.

"did I... Make it in time?" I said with my voice, so hoarse I was not even able to pronounce it clearly. Rem's tears cascaded down her cheeks, causing it to drop right on the lenses of my glasses, and my cheek also. "What... You're asking that?" she told me sarcastically between her painful sobs. "Are you okay?" I asked in a hoarse voice. Rem's cheeks reddened, and her eyes got flooded as more tears escaped her beautiful cerulean eyes. "You're so stupid, Y/N-kun." she stated as she embraced me once more.

"You know what, Rem?" I whispered as she was hugging me. She then looked at me. "I want you to know... For this maybe the last time..." my voice seems to blur in my ears, and my sight is getting blurry. Rem took off my foggy glasses, but still, my sight is all blurry. "You're beautiful... I mean it."

With the last word, my conciousness drifted, and my life in this world died.

3rd person's P.O.V.

As the young man's conciousness drifted apart, Subaru rushed in with the other guards, and fought the witch. The maiden, with her blue hair scattered around the body of the man she's holding onto, sobbed and cried her lungs out, tapping the man's face for too many times, but still... there was no response.

Subaru widened his eyes in shock at the sight of his friend who died on Rem's lap, and his men mercilessly killed by the witch. He lost hope, he cannot fight anymore. There was no chance of winning. "Rem! Let's go!!!" he shouted as the mansion bursted in flames, debrees falled and his way to the maiden is blocked.

Rem did nothing, she still stared at the man on her lap, unsure of what she's going to do now that this man is not there anymore. Yes, the time they spent together may be short, but all those time they spent together, felt so long. Rem hugged your lifeless body and screamed in despair as she let out all raging emotions she felt to the thought that Y/N's gone.

She didn't care about anything anymore, and the witch didn't seem to notice her, too. She let the mansion burn, along with her life and herself, too.

Sorry it took so long to update

And sorry for this chapter. You see, this... Is your third death. And I deeply apologize for the tragic ending.

So, I was thinking, since in the desc., it said "Who'll you take on this oath with?" and the title is an x reader with all the girl characters... Since in the first place, I want Y/N to be friends with all the characters (yes, that was my intention) but now, I have come to a conclusion that I'll make this a Rem x Male reader.

So, my point is, though I will change the title, the plot will still be alike. You'll be friends with everyone. But, the difference is : you'll have an intimate relationship with rem.

Are you against this or not?
