"Dinner is ready." the bluehead said politely.

Emilia-san nodded in agreement upon noticing what time it was. It's about 5 pm, which is the time when the sun sets. We all proceeded to the dining hall, where we discussed some things, and where I saw Subaru again. He told me what it was like when I'm gone or perhaps, while he's gone. The conversation went on until he said "do you want to stay here? As a guest?"

Akward silence filled the room. I am so confused. What does he mean, "As a guest?", then again, silence spread around every corner of the room. "Subaru..." Emilia-san tried to talk to Subaru. "Ah! I'm so sorry, hahaha. . ." he scratched the back of his head akwardly. I just can't understand it. Why did he ask me that?

"He's asking Uncle Y/N if he wants to serve around the mansion!" James blurted out, and was immediately shushed by his little sister. "Brother, that's rude." and I even heard her whisper "though it's true.". HUUUUUHHHH???? SO CONFUSING!

"Mr. Car, please let me know what's going on." I blankly said. Well, who won't want to know what's going on? tbh, that's me. I honestly don't wanna know what he's talking about. Maybe he wants me to be a butler, like what the twins had said?

"mhm. This is the case," he paused for a bit. "We're in need of servants, you see~~" he clasp his hands together, as if he was pleading. Now he put a smile-of-a-loser. Now he's pleading.
". . Fine." I said in defeat. And after all, this is the only way I can pay them back for letting me stay here, right?

Nighttime as it is, I came to bed, ready for sleeping when someone barged in the door without knocking. "I apologize for the sudden intrusion. I just need to deliver these to you." Rem said as she put down a set of butler's uniform on the edge of the bed, but still centimeters away from the end. "oh, uhh thanks. Thank you for bringing them to me, Rem." I said in gratitude, not noticing how she flinched and turned her face away. "Huh? What's wrong?" I asked, worried. ".. It's nothing." she cleared her throat and looked back at me. I stared at her beutiful-wait what? Yeah, her eyes are beautiful but that's a bit... Nevermind. I thought as she slowly turned pink. "Do you have a fever?" I asked densely. I don't want to think too much of it right now. "No, I'm fine!" she turned away and ran to the door. "Have a good night sleep!" she yelled at me for the last time that night.

7:45 am, morning.

I woke up with my hair messy-too messy, I mean. And my face dirty from all the dried drool. Yuck. But it's normal. The bed's comfy, the pillows are all fluffy, who cannot have a goodnight? Anyways, I'm running late and ugh. The pants are short! Thought only two inches, but it still lacks length! But I wore them anyways and wow. The suit is very stunning and perfectly made. I saluted to the tailor in my imagination and head out to the door and bumped head into someone. "ugh... Oh! Sorry!" I apologized.

It was Rem. She fell on the ground when I bumped into her, and now, her skirt was folded up and her smooth and silky hair fell elegantly
on the floor. "Oh my god. I'm very sorry! Let me help you up." I lend my hand to her. She took it and rose up with ease. She reached for her pin, but realized that something is still holding her hand. "ah! sorry, I didn't notice," I panicked and let go of her hand. "Thanks." she said in reply and began walking onto the long hall. "You have a lot of work to do, Y/N-kun." and with that, I followed her to my first day of work.
