This day is finally the first day of my work.
It's so tiring.
It's only been about three hours, and yet, I'm already dead tired. What can be the cause of this? "It seems that you don't work out every once in a while, huh?" Rem suddenly spoke right after my sigh as I put down the boxes that is to be brought to the storage room. I give up.
"Yes, although I can be strong in fighting, I have my limitations in doing household chores, too." I replied back as I gathered the heavy boxes of whatever it is inside after stretching my arms in the air. "hup!" I lifted up my part of luggages and proceeded to the storage room, aware that a girl is with me, and reminding myself that I should not look that weak 'cuz I'd look uncool.
As I was making my way out the hallway, I heard someone giggle, and there was no person other than me and Rem, which is obvious. I came to a halt and turned around. Yes, I am not with Rem for not that long, yet, I am still surprised. For someone who looks so serious and sincere, to giggle that sweetly...
She flinched. Probably because I turned around in such speed that it was surprising. She hid her face with the box she's holding, but I can still see her turning light pink. HONESTLY, IT'S JUST SO CUTE–no. I should not think like that. "Please lead the way to the storage room." I said bluntly, not being too obvious that it's not really the reason why I turned around. I just said it to make her feel less embarassed/shy around me.
Little did I know, Rem smiled so genuinely behind my back for the first time I've been here.

11:36 pm
"I GIVE UP! AHHHH" I exclaimed as I gained another burn due to the boiling cooking oils splashing out of the pan. "WHY IS THIS FISH SO HARMFUL?!" I chibi-cried. "Silly, it's not the fish that's harmful when cooking, it's the oil." she gently took the ladel from my hand and started moving the fish and remove it from being sticked to the pan. "Wow. How do you do it so perfectly while looking too beautiful?" I accidentally blurted out. Since I want to be funny, "Ack! My heart!! Auxbdhmz (inaudible noises)" I kneeled down the kitchen floor.
"Y/N-kun! Wha-what?! Are you o-okay?!" Rem quickly ran to me and kneeled infront of me. Haha, she's so worried, so cute, in a good way. "I got you~~ UGH–" as I lift up my head, a fist jabbed me in the stomach. "Y/N-kun~~ please don't worry me that much again, okay?~🎶" she threatened me with a cold smile.
"Ok, I won't." I assured her with blood dripping out of my mouth. Her brows furrowed. She rose and turned off the cooker, and came back with a paper towel in hand. She knelt down with me and started wiping the blood that came out of my mouth. "This is what you get when you worry me like that. . ." she worrily states. "Does it hurt? I'm so sorry. . ." she asks me, as if I'm se dear to her. I get the feeling that she's about to cry. I let my instincts come in, and let my hand do what I think it should. I brought my right hand to her left cheek and caressed it gently, looking at her beautiful features. Suddenly, my pain banished. "I'm ok, no need for you to worry so much about me. I was just taken by surprise, and I deserve it for surprising you like that." I smiled at her, looking directly at her eyes, admiring its beautiful colors, and its beautiful owner.
Rem eventually turned red, and stood up, taking the ladel and once again, turning on the stove to cook. "W-w-we have t-to make l-lu-lunch for t-the ma-masters.." she clumsily stuttered. I quietly chuckled. "Hurry, get me the plate!" she demanded, still beet red. "okay~~ coming." I helped her with preparing food.
It's really nice being with Rem.

"So, how's it so far?" Subaru asked, soaking in the hot springs with me. "I can't believe you have your own hot springs in your mansion." I stated.
"don't dodge the quest–"
"Yeah, it's nice being with Rem, doing all the houseworks, cooking, cleaning, and watering the plants..." I cut in the middle of Mr. Car's sentence, binded by my habit. "Oh, sorry, I–"
"It's okay, Y/N. We're still bestfriends, right?" he winked.
"Yuck."
"Huh? What yuck?" Subaru asked.
"You look so weird, winking. Specially with your beard." I pointed out.
Subaru laughed at my statement, and I, too, laughed at myself. "How old are you now?" I asked.
"about 31." he grinned.
"Wow. You're already this old, ready to be a grandpa." I joked.
"What?! No way! I'm still young! I can just do more now!" Subaru splashe waters at me. Ah, how nostalgic having a good time with a friend is..
And then, we heard a loud noise outside, like. . . "A horn?"
"Oh no..." Subaru got out of the bath and hurriedly put on his clothes, rushing out to the hall.
"Wait, Subaru, what–?!" we heard screams just before I finished my sentence. Was that . . .
Rem?!
