Kirishima swung open the door with huge force, nearly throwing it off its hinges. He seemed much more mad than ever before, and there was no trace a smiled on his face. "Bakugou!" Kirishima's face was fiery red. Katsuki, a little caught off guard, flung himself away from Momo, pushing her. She stumbled away, but caught her balance before she could fall.
Bakugou spoke, "Kirishima, dude, what is it?"
"You're changing dude! When would you ever lead some chick come in between you and becoming the number one hero?!"
"Yaoyorozu is not just "some chick," okay?"
"So? When have you ever talked before the trip?"
"Never, but she did come to save me from the League of Villains..."
"So did I!"
"Well... I find myself agreeing with her a lot. And who said she was getting in my way? She's just... I don't know, she just there I guess."
Momo was a little hurt by that, but she still didn't know what she expected from Kacchan. He was changing awfully fast, and that embrace was way more than she had anticipated.
"What are you even doing back here anyways?" Bakugou asked Kirishima.
"To check on you man! You weren't at lunch, and the only times you miss lunch are if you don't have one or you're not feeling all right."
"You're such a mom, dude! Why do you even care about me so much?"
"Well, becau-" Kirishima stopped. He hadn't really thought about that before. "W-whatever, dude. I think we should just take a break from being friends."
"Friends?"
Kirishima was taken by that, but slumped his head and stuck his hands in his pockets in return as he walked back out the door. "At least one thing hasn't changed."
When the door closed again, Bakugou turned to Momo who looked like she was on the verge of tears.
"What's wrong?" he asked, taking a step towards her.
"Kirishima's right," she began. "When have we ever talked? This is just so spontaneous. And I don't wanna get between you and Eijirou. I mean, sure, what happened was a lot, and your arc their seemed to change you, and it all happened so quickly. I mean, you seem so out of character, and I don't know how I feel about that, because I liked how it felt, but is it spontaneous? What if someone else likes me? Like-like... um... Todoroki? Or what if someone likes you? Like Tsu! Or Ochako? Or-"
"Stop." Momo looked up (know with tears in her eyes) as Bakugou held her chin. "You're starting to mutter like Deku. It's annoying."
She hung her head. "Sorry, it's just."
"And besides. I don't want you thinking like that. I can't lose an acquaintance and a friend today."
"But you just told Kirishima you weren't-"
"I wasn't talking about him."
"But we barely even-"
"But you wanna be friends too, don't you?"
"I mean..."
Bakugou took this moment of hesitation to hug Momo again. For some reason, Momo pushed herself into Bakugou, causing him to stumble, but her turned around and caught himself by leaning against the wall. Yaoyorozu cried her eyes out, partially bent down (as she's a centimeter taller than Bakugou). His shirt began to become wet. Her chest pushed against him firmly, and it seemed kind of tight, but he didn't do anything to move it.
He placed his hand on top of her head, looking to the right out the window. He saw a bird fly onto the roof. Another bird sat waiting. They nuzzled, and just sat there. Bakugou turned back to Momo and smiled, now rubbing his idle hand atop her head. She still sobbed.
