Bakugou's Embers

*Fifteen minutes before back in Hosu*

"So, Yao?" asked Mina in a fluttery voice (almost flirting, but more of a teasing sense, since she was trying to poke fun at her friend). Momo looked up at her. A group of girls was gathering around her. Mina helped her up while talking. "What'd you do with Bakugou, huh?" All the girls seemed intrigued, but Mina was really the only one with enough courage and disrespect to ask.
"Hmm, well, I don't really know. Everything was dizzy for me the entire time, and after a while I kinda blacked out."
"He drugged you?!" Mina exclaimed, jumping back a bit with Momo now on her feet.
"Not so loud, please. I have a bit of a headache."
"Classic symptoms of a victim of date ra-"
"Whoa! It was nothing of the sort! In fact, I vaguely remember Bakugou being the most heroic person in the world to me."
"What do you mean by that?" Ochako chimed in.
"Well, when I got injured by a Nomu, Midoriya and Bakugou helped me to the hospital. On my way there, I kept getting stung by the rain, so Bakugou found me a makeshift umbrella. The rain still kinda hurt a lot, but I guess my adrenaline numbed it at that point. I didn't wanna hurt his feelings either. I don't know how much he thought a trash lid would protect someone. He's just goofy I guess. But that's alright. He's kind of cute like that. And..."
"You're trailing of Yaoyorozu," Jiro spoke.
"You're just talking about how cute Bakugou is," said Hagakure.
"Kiro." Tsu croaked. Momo giggled.
"Oops, sorry! Right back to my story. So we get to the hospital, and it explodes, so we go back to the ally Bakugou found the lid in..."
"Hold on, he found the lid in an alley?!" Mina exclaimed.
"Wait, the hospital exploded?!" asked Uraraka. "Is everyone okay?"
"Everyone will be fine." Momo said.
"I guess that explains all the ambulances coming from the hospital already full that we saw last night," said Hagakure.
"We probably should have figured that,"  Tsu said.
Momo continues. "So we get back to the alley, and Bakugou wraps my wounds. I do remember something warm on my chest too..."
"Love?" questioned Mina.
"No... it was more of a physical touch."
"Did it feel good?"
"Well, besides it being warm, it kind of pinched a little, like a mini explosion..."
"Bakugou groped you?!" Mina jumped. Momo didn't have a response.
"No, I don't think it was that. Granted, I can't remember much after that. Everything  just went black. Then I woke up cuddling Bakugou."
"That reminds me," Ashido spoke. "What was with the 'thanks for last night?'"
"Oh, well I just remember Bakugou helping me, so I was thanking him for his heroic duties. I would have thanked Midoriya too, but I didn't see him. I guess that was kind of bad timing, huh?"
"No kidding," Hagakure said.
"Kiro," Asui croaked again.
"Speak of the devil," Kyoka looked to passed Momo to find Midoriya walking up.
He spoke, "Hi, Momo."
"Good morning."
"How are you feeling?"
    "I'm doing fine thanks to Bakugou and you."
"A-alright. Well, do you need anything?"
"Nope. Thanks, though."
"C-cool. I-I'll see you on the bus then."
"Alright. See you." Midoriya walked away. Everyone stared at Momo.
"Excuse me?" she asked.
"What happened to you thanking him?" Asked Mina.
"I did."
"No you didn't."
"When he asked if I needed anything." Everyone looked at each other.
Momo began, "Alright, well we better start walking if we're to catch up with everyone," and walked swiftly to the front of the group. Tsu, Mina, Kyoka, Ochako, and Toru looked at each other.
"She definitely likes him." Mina said. Everyone nodded.
