"Hey, have either of you seen my-" Normani cut herself off as she spotted Lauren and Ally sitting on the couch, the younger girl curled up on top of the oldest. "Jacket. Nevermind," she mumbled to herself, turning to go back upstairs.
"What was that, Mani?" Ally called out.
"Nevermind, I forgot I gave Lauren my jacket."
Ally shrugged, going back to looking at her phone. "I will never understand why it takes them forever to get ready when they know we have plans."
"So this is normal?" Lauren asked, her face half buried in the older girl's neck.
The blonde laughed. "Yeah, it's normal. Get used to being at least thirty minutes late for anything. Although, I think Camila is just up there for a second opinion since I refuse to do it and you're down here."
"Why do you not want to do it?"
"Dinah and Normani ignore me every single time. It's not worth the energy."
"It takes time to look as flawless as I do," the younger blonde remarked as she entered the living room with Camila trailing behind.
"But why can't you guys start getting ready earlier?" Ally questioned exasperatedly. "Where's Normani?"
"Right here. Had to find a different, jacket, sorry," the girl in question explained as she walked in.
"Finally," the oldest muttered. She pat Lauren's leg. "Come on, baby, let's go."
Lauren whined slightly, reluctant to get up. "Why do we have to go out?"
"It's just a few hours," Camila replied. "Dinner, dessert, and then we come home, get in comfy pjs, watch a movie, and cuddle."
"Fine," the raven haired girl grumbled, begrudgingly standing up. "I'm not happy about it," she mumbled, allowing herself to be pulled into Camila's side.
"It'll be fun, Lauser," Dinah assured as she wrapped her arm around Lauren's other side.
----------
A few hours later, and the group was aimlessly walking around the downtown area. Dinner had gone smoothly, though Lauren was still internally stewing over a conversation they had during their meal.
"Hey, Lolo, you okay?" Camila asked, taking the girl's hand.
Lauren shrugged, looking at the ground. "Just thinking," she mumbled.
"About?"
"I am not a bottom," Lauren stated adamantly.
Dinah snorted from behind the two. "You wish, Ralph."
Lauren stopped and turned to the taller girl with a glare. "But I'm not! Why do you guys think I am?"
"You get all red and stutter-y whenever we compliment you. You love to climb into one of our laps and cuddle like your life depends on it. The slightest bit of contact and you become the most compliant person ever," Normani rattled off immediately. "Which that last part is something I, for one, would definitely like to experiment with in bed."
Lauren stumbled in her steps, turning to stare wide eyed and slightly horrified at the dark skinned girl. "No, no. I feel like I know what you're thinking and no."
"Why? Are you afraid it will confirm what we all know but you refuse to admit?" Normani challenged.
"I really don't see why you care so much about this," Camila interjected, swinging her and Lauren's hands back and forth lightly. "Really, as long as everyone is pleasured in some way, I don't see why it matters."
"Who are you and what have you done with Walz?" Dinah asked, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. "You sounded a little too much like Ally there."
Ally rolled her eyes but declared, "For the record, I'm in agreement with Mila."
"Well, duh, you're a top, there's no doubt about that, so you don't need to have an opinion," Dinah replied easily. "Lauser, here, though, is incredibly stubborn and refuses to admit she's wrong."
The girl in question stopped and stomped her foot slightly. "I am not a bottom. Am I awkward and shy? Yes. Do I enjoy cuddling you all like my life depends on it? Yes. But I can be a top."
"You do rock the whole ripped jeans and leather jacket look," Camila remarked, appreciating the other girl's attire for the night. "If it wasn't for the fact you melt with the slightest touch, I would think you are a top."
Normani raised a hand. "I would like to point out that's not even Lauren's jacket. It's mine."
The younger brunette hummed. "That would explain why it's slightly too big."
Lauren yanked her hand away. "You're a traitor. I don't like you right now."
Camila held her hands up in surrender and stepped back to walk next to Ally.
Normani and Dinah shared a conspiratorial look, and then moved towards Lauren simultaneously.
"And also-" Lauren cut herself off as she was suddenly assaulted by Normani and Dinah both kissing her cheeks. "Hey, hey, you, you, you, you jerks," she stuttered, her face quickly heating up. "Why would you- you can't just- what?"
Normani pulled back and smirked. "You, baby girl, are adorable," she stated, ruffling the younger girl's hair.
"As much as I love discussing the specifics of how submissive Lauren is," Ally started, her tone half amused and half exasperated, "can we please head home?"
"Yes, please," Lauren pleaded, stepping out from between Dinah and Normani and rushing over to the oldest girl. "Let's go, please, I beg you."
-----------
That night, after a few glasses of wine and a movie, the five were lying in bed. It was slightly crowded, but given that Dinah and Camila liked to lay on top of everyone else, their pile wasn't too uncomfortable.
"I am still mad that Dinah didn't let me keep one of her hoodies, but she let Lauren," Camila grumbled, a slight whine to her voice.
Normani snorted. "Lauren looks like a puppy in her hoodie, that's why. She's swimming in it."
She motioned to where the younger girl in question was lying asleep on top of her chest, a soft, light gray hoodie on. Lauren's legs were tucked up underneath the sweater, allowing the hoodie to cover her entire body.
"Okay, I'm going to be honest and say I specifically got that one like two sizes too big just for Lauser," Dinah admitted. "She just looks so cuddly and adorable in them."
"Please don't let Laur hear you say that. It'll just result in yet another pointless argument about whether she's a top or bottom," Ally said tiredly.
The younger blonde huffed, but nodded. "Fine. But for the record, there's no way she'd top."
Ally smiled amusedly. "After the way she reacted when you guys ambushed her with cheek kisses? Definitely not."
"Ha, I knew you had an opinion," Normani quietly bragged.
Ally rolled her eyes. "If Lauren asks, I don't. Now can we please just go to bed?"
