chapter 22-furthering the plot

(dawsons POV) "this is bad" i mutter looking over the security cam feeds on a monitor bank in the corner "agreed" alex says "we've been through worse" logan says and i nod slightly "but it was more then just four of us" i say after a moment looking around "ive got a plan..it might get us killed..but its the best i can think of on such short time " logan loads a shotgun "can't be worse then what I have in mind" he says after a moment and steps up to the speaker controls and takes out his tablet quickly looking up someone and hooking it in and God Save The Queen begins playing throughout the park at full volume "mind turning off the turret guarding our alien visitors?" "your crazy!" I say "no" Alex says "he's British, let the man work out his plan" I nod reluctantly and remotely shut off the turret and nod to Logan "how easily could you get your buddy Ajax back here?" he asks Alex "you got a radio?" Alex asks and Logan tosses one to him and a couple minutes later Alex gives a nod to both us "it'll be 15 minutes" he says "we don't have that long " I say "ill buy time" Logan says "and I suggest you two don't bloody die" he says sternly picking up his shotgun and pressing a button on the tablet so AC/DC's thunderstruck begins to play "god save the queen!" Logan shouts before running towards the exit and Alex and I run to the security monitors and search for him on the cameras as he calmly walks up to the small platoon of special forces operatives and smirks pulling out a pair of glasses and puts them on "who the hell are you?" one of the soldiers asked before punching him square in the nose "where are my manners" Logan says looking around "names Logan" he pauses taking off his coat "like wolverine, but not as cool" he takes a bit of blood from his nose "and..I have a lesson for you to learn" he turns around for a moment taking the shotgun both hands "whats that?" a solider asks "Manners. maketh. the man." he slings the gun over his shoulder and turns around "any of you gentlemen know what that means? " they all look confused for a second as he picks up an old glass cup "oh..right, I forgot..im not on the lovely rock of Britain..where men actually have a concept of not only manners, but also..integrity, and " he pauses smashing the glass over the commanders face "fighting technique" the men raise their guns "bloody hell" he mutters before diving into the fight taking on multiple men at once as though their just common street thugs before he finishes them off and gets down on one knee to catch his breath before one puts a gun to his head seconds before Ajax takes them out and runs over giving Logan a hand up "thanks" Logan says "you seemed so helpless without my help" Ajax says sarcastically and Logan chuckles as me and Dawson run to the surface "wanna fill me in?" Ajax asks "secret government group we think...they were backing the shroud and giving him orders" Ajax scoffs "wheres your evidence?" adley tosses him the file and he looks through it "ho...god damn" he frowns "this..is something that gets people killed.." Logan frowns "and its different from our usual work?" he nods "you ever read about the pair of politicians  that lived back in the 2000s?" Logan sighs "the ones that have a list of people who mysteriously turned up dead because they had dirt on em'?" Ajax nods "nobody ever pinned those on them did they?" I ask "no..they didn't, because the loose ends were tied off, money changed hands..everything to keep their secret...secret" he says softly "and your about to be neck deep with an orgization...that can do that, and a whole hell of a lot more so I suggest you get the memo..and tell your boss to, Leave. This. Alone." Logan nods and paces a minute "statistically speaking, id say its late for that to be viable" I say after a moment "unfortunately" Logan says "of course..something says we may end up having to take out the government" Alex says "wrong" Logan says "we just gotta get enough dirt on em" "and the people will do the rest for us" I say "exactly" Logan says "it'll have to wait until the sequel though" Alex says "wait wha-" Logan and I say
