Chapter 18

(Pane's POV)

It's time.

To show the other kingdoms, who they are messing with. To show that WE ARE, the nightmares that lie in horror books. I am strong, my people are strong, and hungry for blood. I can feel it boiling inside me, its like it knows what is going to happen and wants to feed on the blood of werewolves. My people are even starting to fear me even more as they notice me, slowly losing control. It's going to happen, and I know when it does, it will not be pretty. This thing inside me, does'nt care if your on my team or not. You are still fresh meat and blood, and that only equals one thing;

Prey.

My skin has started to feel, almost itchy. Will casted me a worried look before turning back towards my army of vampires and winced. Based on appearance, my vampires ranged from: Horror movie-Dracula. The rogues were haggard and constantly looked in pain from being away from blood and innocent souls.

I never said, they were all good people.

But this was all I had to work with...

Our boots left feathery, footprints in the snow before they were washed away with a gust of wind. My army struggled to keep up with Fang and I, as we bulldozed through the never-ending snow. I could faintly see the the number of snowflakes started to slowly descend as the werewolf kingdom came into view. Bright green grass, surrounded the enchanting castle as the sky shined a light blue, pushing away the gray clouds that constantly are seen where I live. The happiness of this kingdom was literally, sickening.

And I wasn't the only one who thought so...

My soldiers hissed threateningly and their eyes shined in a viscous, predatory way. I was no better than they were, as I struggled to keep control and reign myself in. My limbs grew cold with pain and it felt like a thousand needles were being stabbed into my body as it slowly took over. I failed to notice how close we really were, until I found myself staring at the stone walls that were right in front of me. With one word, I started the beginning of a bloody war,

"Climb".

Talons replaced our once, short, fingernails. Echoes of bloodthirsty hisses rang in the air as our claws, desperately clung to every nook and crack between the stones. Some vampires were too frantic with their hands and made a fatal fall, that was guaranteed to end their immortal lives. Not much can kill us, but when every bone in your body is crushed, even I would have to make an exception. The lengthy height of the building, floated somewhere in the back of my mine. But like my fellow soldiers, bloodlust clouded my every thought.

Fang had shifted into his wolf form and was now charging through a back door of the castle. His claws were too short and not sturdy enough to hold his weight. And some of my more muscular vamps, were already climbing into the windows. When my hands caught the window sill, my power took over. I could feel the tattoos race up my arms and a stinging sensation in my eyes. Fear radiated from whoever had helped me in as his body slowly started to erupt in pain.

When I climbed all the way in, I realized that he was one of my special warriors and I laughed as I watched his fangs bite through his lip as he tried to hold in his screams. The werewolf guard had heard the commotion and bust through the doors but he was too late. My entire army was already inside the castle in various places and on every floor. My power was out and ready to kill. All I said as I watched the guards terrified face was,

"Game on."
