We walk up the stairs to the huge doorways when someone opens the door. It was my soon to be step father.
My mom squealed and ran to him and hugged. I awkwardly stand there, until my mom waved me over.
I went up to him and stuck my hand out. "Nice to see you again."
"Ahh don't give me a handshake! Give me a hug! We are family now!" He raised his arms and hugged me, and I laughed at how sweet he is. "Come in! Come in!" He gestured in the house.
I went inside and immediately gasped at how big the space was. A beautiful chandelier hung above us. The dark wooded staircase with red velvet carpeting. Crisp white walls that looked like it has never had a speck of dirt on it. Tons of paintings that looked very expensive. I can't believe that I actually get to live here.
My eyes roamed the room until I landed on a boy standing next to the staircase. As as I noticed him, he smiled. He had blonde hair, dressed in a white t shirt with jeans. It looked as if his eyes were smiling at me too.
My stepfather went over to the boy. "This is one of my sons, Jimin. He's the only one I could find in short notice to help you with your bags. The rest of the boys should be somewhere around. You can meet them later."
"Hey it's nice to meet you y/n," Jimin says.
Wow. His voice sounds so soothing. "It's nice to meet you too, Jimin."
Stepfather pats him on the back and says, "Well Jimin why don't you help y/n with her suitcases and show her to her new room." Jimin nods in response and starts heading to the door. He looks at me and nods his head for me to follow him. I look back at my mom and she shoos at me to go.
At the car Jimin takes out my bags. "You know," I say, "I can take all this in. You don't have to carry all these bags yourself."
"Who said I was going to carry all these myself?" He hands me the heaviest suitcase, which makes me stumble forward a bit. He chuckles.
"Maybe you're just lazy," I laughed. He giggles in response.
"I have to admit," Jimin says, "I was a little nervous having a new sister move in, but I feel comfortable with you."
He took the words right out of my mind. "I was thinking the same way."
Both of us go upstairs and stop in a wide hallway with four doors, two doors on each side of the walls. Jimin points to the first door. "This is my room and the door next to mine is your room. Across from my door is Jungkooks, and the door across from yours is Taehyungs. The other four have rooms in another corridor."
We walk into my room which had cream colored walls, a king sized bed with gray sheets, and a large window door. I was overtaken with how nice this room is. "I...th..this is my room?"
Jimin laughed. "Yes, silly. You look so cute when you're dumbfounded."
I was so encompassed by the room that I almost missed what Jimin said. Cute? I look...cute? I decided to just brush that off and put my bags on the bed.
"I'll let you get settled in." Jimin said as he left.
