Jungkook stormed out of the house. I was left wide eyed, scared to the bone, everyone's eyes on me. I don't know why, but my eyes drifted towards Jimin and Tae, who look confused more than anything.

My mom stepped forward. "Is...is this true?"

For a moment, the future flashed before my eyes. A once prosperous full life then became a miserable downfall. After years of being alone, my mother finally found someone she loved and who loved her. And I just threw that away. I know what I have to do now. For the better of everyone involved... I have to lie.

"No! Of course it's not true!"

Stepfather spoke up. "Jungkook probably said that just to hurt us. He's been having a hard time lately." He came up to me and held my hands. He noticed tears welling up in my eyes, and said "I'm sorry he dragged you into this mess." He went back to my mom and kissed her on the cheek. "I better go get him."

Stepfather left, leaving everyone still in shock about what had just happened. Mom rushed over to me and wrapped me into a hug, on the verge of bursting into tears.

In the corner of my eye I see the guys, unsure of what to say. The oldest, Jin stepped forward and put a comforting hand on my moms back. "Jungkook has said some really stupid things to all of us at one point. He's... I mean... he's just..." he struggles to find the right words to say.

"I know," mom says. "I didn't come into this family because I thought it would be easy. Hopefully your father will find him and bring him back safely. But for now, let's all get some rest."

We all agreed and went upstairs. Jimin, Tae, and I went into our corridor and stood in front of our bedrooms, hesitant to open our doors.

"Is it true?" I heard a voice say. I looked up to see Jimin with his sad eyes waiting for my answer. There was a lump in my throat, so I just looked down at the floor. I jump at the sound of his door slamming shut.

I slightly rose up my head at Tae. I feel a hot tear roll down my cheek. He gave me a little smile and said "Everything is going to be okay." He waved and went into his room, shutting the door behind him.

Finally, after a long day, I trudged into my room and climbed into bed. I bring the covers over my head, and start crying.
