It completely slipped my mind that anyone could be in the house right now. What if they heard everything we were doing?
"You can relax. Everyone is usually out of the house this time around."
"What about Jimin?"
"He's at soccer practice."
"Aren't you on the same team? Why aren't you at practice?"
"Well- it's its not really an official practice... he likes to improve on his own and practices by himself even on our days off." A glimmer of sadness comes across his face. "He usually does it when he's not.. feeling all that great emotionally."
My heart sank. I look down at my fumbling hands. "It's all my fault."
Tae stands up and starts to put his clothes on. As he gathers up my clothes and hands it to me he says "There you go again. Caring too damn much."
I looked at him surprised. He continues with saying "If it is your fault, you have to make it up to him. Trust me, he's not the type to hold grudges very long. He'll come around and get over it."
"I hope you're right."
After I had a shower and cleaned myself up, I went to the kitchen to grab a snack. I started munching on an apple when I heard the front door open. I peaked around the corner to see who it was.
Jimin trudged in the house with dirt and grass stains all over his soccer uniform. From the way that his face glows with redness and sweat, I can tell that he's been working very hard.
I quickly grab a bottle of water from the fridge and jog over to Jimin.
"Hey! I'm glad you're home. I grabbed some water for you," I handed the bottle out, waiting for him to take it.
He looks at me for a second and shakes his head. "I've got my own already." He brushes past me and goes upstairs to his room.
He's still angry with me. And I couldn't blame him. Tae was right. I have to make it up to him. But how?
I decide to just go with flow and head upstairs. I face his shut bedroom door and knock softly.
He didn't answer so I knocked a few more times a little harder. He still didn't answer. I resorted to banging on his door, with which he finally swings open, revealing himself without a shirt.
"What, y/n? I'm trying to change." Jimin says annoyed.
I couldn't help but look at his muscular chest and toned abs. "I-I'm sorry... it's just... I was hoping we could talk."
He hesitates for a moment, but opens his door wider for me to come in. After I step in, he closes the door behind me.
I take a look around his room and notice some drawings sprawled out on his desk. I go to it and smile at his artwork.
"Wow Jimin... you're really talented." I am captivated by such details he encompasses in his drawings. I lift each paper one by one admiring his work.
I heard him say "Wait, don't.." when I came across a penciled picture of a girl. A girl who is looking out the window, staring at the sky. This girl looked just like me.
Once he sees that I found the drawing he grunts. "Is-is this me?" I point it out to him. He lowers his head and rubs the back of his neck.
"Uhh yeah. It is. I drew that a long time ago, you don't have to pay attention to it.."
"But it's gorgeous," I replied.
He snapped his head back up and looked at me. "Really?"
"Of course!" I say laughing. "You are going to be an awesome artist one day."
With that Jimin chuckles and shyly accepts the compliment. "Thanks."
A moment or two passes and I put down the picture. I put my serious expression on and turn to him. "Listen, Jimin... I know that there is a lot of tension between us right now... and I feel like.."
Before I could finish my sentence, Jimin interrupts. "You don't have to say anything."
"But I want to apologize... I want to know how to make things right with you."
Jimin's eyes became dark and his voice dropped low, saying, "Get on your knees.."
