Sam and I starting talking and getting to know each other. We exchanged numbers to we can keep in touch.
"Are you going to Mountain View High after summer break?"
"Yeah I am."
"Cool! We can be friends that gossip and complain about how terrible high school is."
Wow, I finally made a friend even before school starts!
I was chatting away with Sam until I realize that her eyes were focused on something behind me. I turn around and I see Jungkook across the room talking to a group of people.
"He..is so...hot," Her eyes were glued to Jungkook, tilting her head as she daydreams.
Sam gasps, "Wait! Your his new sister! Do you know if he is seeing anyone? Can you set me up with him? Do you think he'll like me? What if.."
She bombarded me with question after question and I just held my hands up. "Sam! Slow down! I can barley understand what your saying"
"Oh, sorry. Do you think you can introduce me to him sometime?"
For a moment I was against that idea. But why? He's my brother now. It's not like I'm jealous or anything. Am I?
I shook those thoughts out of my head. "Yeah, sure. You want to go over there now?"
Her eyes went wide and she started shaking her head. "No way! I'll puke if I talk to him right now. You can introduce me to him when school starts. That way I can mentally prepare to even muster up the courage to meet him."
I laugh. "Sounds like a plan."
Sam's phone started ringing. She saw the caller id and starting cursing. "Oh no it's my mom. She must of found out that I snuck out. I have to go, y/n. I'll text you later!"
She waved back at me as she headed out the door. I wonder what I'll do now. I guess I'll go socialize.
I stood awkwardly next to a wall, watching the party rage on around me. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turn around. It was Bryan.
His eyes sparkled as he smiled at me. "Hey! I was hoping I would run into you."
I smiled back. "I'm glad you did. It was nice talking to you earlier with Taehyung."
"Yeah, he's been talking about you a lot, how you are so amazing. I have to admit, I had high expectations of you. And you have yet to disappoint me."
I sheepsihly hide my smile and blushing.
"So," he said, "Why are you all alone? I would expect every guy in here to try and talk to you."
"As if. I'm not nearly pretty enough for that to happen."
Bryan puts his hand on his chest as if he's offended. "How can you say that! You must be lying. I mean, you are by far the most gorgeous girl I have laid my eyes on."
My smile slowly faded away. No one has every said something that profound to me before. The seriousness of his words brought butterflies in my stomach.
"I would like to know you better. Can I get your number?" He asks.
My smile returned, a hundred times bigger. I can barely contain my excitement. "Sure! Here..."
We exchanged numbers and put it in each others phones.
"I have to get going, but I hope I can see you again soon." He gave me a wink and left.
I was looking out after he left, thinking about his words that repeated in my mind."
"Hey, y/n," I heard a voice say. I snapped out of it, and turned to whoever just said my name. It was Jimin with a serious expression on his face.
"Hey Jimin. Whats up?"
"Can I talk to you upstairs?" He started walking to the stairs before I could answer. I rushed after him, following him up the stairs.
"Whats the matter Jimin?"
Suddenly, my back was against the wall. His hands gripping my arms, our faces just inches apart. "What are you doing talking to Bryan?"
I tried to shake him loose, but his grip just tightened. "What? Jimin why.."
"You can't talk to him anymore."
I started to get angry. Who was he to say that I can't talk to him anymore?
"I can talk to whoever I want! Now let me go!"
"No, I can't let you get hurt. He'll break your heart."
I started to realize that he was jealous. He was jealous when he shouldn't be. I can't wait until after the party. I have to tell him now.
"Jimin... that day... when we... you know... that can never happen again. Or anything like it."
"What are you saying?"
"We are going to be siblings soon. I would be betraying my mom if I continued this thing we have."
His hands now went to cup my cheeks. Tears were welling up in his eyes.
"But.. I'm starting... to have feelings... feelings that I have never had with anyone else. I know it's wrong... but I can't help it..."
Before I knew it, his lips were on mine. His passionate kiss could make me do things that I promised I wouldn't do again.
His mouth moved to my neck, along with his hands now moving to my waist. Under his kisses, he muffled "Please don't keep me away,"
I put my hands to his chest and pushed him off of me. "I have to, Jimin."
Even though I didn't want to. I could have stayed there, and let it continue. But I didn't. I ran away to go downstairs, leaving him behind.
