"Are you serious that was the rumor everyone was passing on." I said not fully sure if what she was telling me was the truth or not. But that was one of my rules anyways so, I'm just following them.

"Yeah, but I really didn't believe it. It is just a rumor anyways. Not all of them are true." She said as she waved her hand around in annoyance of how that was what everyone was talking about.

"Thank god, someone has some common sense." I said in relieved

"Anyways what are you going to do now that you know about the rumor." She said focusing her attention back at me.

"I haven't figured it out yet." I said clueless.

"Well you sound very interesting, most people say you are a cold person but, at the same time people say you are the prettiest in the whole school." She said, "It all didn't make sense or come together."

"Yeah, I know that, but I don't love or hate that image. It took me some time to get the cold personality part in people's minds." I admitted

"I'm not going to ask you the whole story on why you did that but, I do have a question I want you to answer." The girl said looking straight into my eyes with a determined look in her eyes. "Can I join you in on this?"

I was confused by this question. Why would an average want to get involved in a misfits vs. popular fight? Much less one over a rumor spreading around.

I looked at her, looking her over for any hints of doubt or regret.

"Why in the world would you want to get involved." I asked, "Just a few minutes ago you didn't even want to listen to what I had to say."

"I know that but, I'm bored and want to see a new side of the world." She said, "I don't really want to stay an average my whole high school life, nothing happens."

"So now you're trying to leave the peaceful life and help me, the supposed rapist girl?" I said raising an eyebrow.

"Sure, why not, seems more fun than sitting in the library all day." She shrugged.

I thought it over, thinking hard on my decision onto letting her join or not. Would it really be a good idea to form a group?

Me, a girl who sasses, hits, and curses at everyone who talked to me, having help from an average girl. I must be crazy to even consider that possibility. I knew I was talking to her and other people nicer then I usually do but, that was because I was desperate. I really needed to know the whole rumor story that was the only reason on why I did that.

"You can do whatever." I ended up saying

"Yay, so we are a team now." Her personality literally just did a whole 180. From gloomy and carefree to happy and cheerful????

"I guess so." I said with no emotion.

"So, will you tell me what I even got myself into when I agreed." She said

That got a laugh out of me. I told her what happened with Max and Timothy and the other two boys. And how I had an idea in who was behind all this.

"Oh yeah, by the way what is your name." I asked

"Sorry, I didn't introduce myself sooner. My name is Alice." Alice said

"Ok Alice, I hope we can work well together." I said sticking my hand out to her. She took it and smiled at me.

"Now let's beat some populars butts." she said cheerful.

And at that we both parted our ways going to our locker before the bell that told us class was starting right back up. For once this whole week I felt my gears spinning and turning. My plan was finally in motion.
